Truly a fantastic place, the food is plentiful and delicious! All the ingredients are truly exquisite and typical of the area. I recommend the €30 menu; it's definitely worth stopping by!

Recommended by locals, we had lunch at this simple yet welcoming restaurant just steps from the Duomo. Traditional dishes, cooked to order. So, a few extra minutes of waiting, but it was definitely worth it! Pappardelle with mushrooms and gnocchi in saffron cream with speck and zucchini: excellent and plentiful! And the staff were welcoming with a smile. We hope to have the opportunity to return... the risottos we saw passing by were sooooo inviting!

Great restaurant with fabulous price

I tried this place for the first time even though I'm from Pavia. I came here with some friends from Puglia who had never visited the city and wanted to try something typical of my homeland somewhere. This place is 100% authentic! Excellent food, the place is very unique inside, the staff is kind, friendly, and helpful. I absolutely recommend the risotto with gorgonzola and walnuts, truly excellent and not at all heavy, the ingredients are well-balanced! In addition to the platters, which are definitely worth trying, everything MUST BE paired with a good, authentic wine: Bonarda dell'Oltrepó Pavese! Best to book to be on the safe side! Cozy, quaint place with good background music. The staff is friendly and welcoming. They offer a €10 set menu, with a choice of first and second courses, water, and wine. The food is good and the portions are adequate. I highly recommend it.

Local muy coqueto con comida bastante aceptable. El servicio es correcto sin alcanzar la simpatía, menos aún si no hablas italiano. Para ser una ciudad universitaria tendrían que revisar esto. El precio, en línea con lo habitual en Italia, abusivo.

Ci siamo trovati a fare un giro a Pavia e prenotare al cupolone perché tutti ne parlano bene . Purtroppo abbiamo fatto un po’ tardi siamo arrivati alle 21:15 ( un sabato 24 maggio ) Prenotiamo e ci consigliano risotto con ossobuco , curiosi lo prendiamo , ci facciamo servire prima in antipasto longobardo ( se non erro ) . 4 persone ci portano 3 gnocchi fritti ( vabbè ) una ciotolina scarsa di cipolle caramellate , i salumi vabbè . Arriva risotto con osso buco ( porzione abbondante ) ma il risotto sembrava cotto in acqua , e l’ossobuco sembrava bollito. Alle 22:30 sembra come se fossimo di troppo quindi in via vai di camerieri che sembrava ( dico a noi cliente sembrava ) mettessero ansia per mandarci via . Mi fa strano perché sul menu c’è scritto pane , coperto sorrisi e abbracci a 2,59. Mai sorrisi e abbracci l’avevano finiti?
