This restaurant is worth a visit if you're passing through Pavia like me. I had lunch with my daughter. The risotto with ossobuco was very good. I personally found it a little salty. Excellent charcuterie board and good wine. The service was excellent. The waiters, especially Irene, were very professional. Well done.

A welcoming osteria just steps from Pavia Cathedral, offering rustic dishes from the Pavia region. Friendly staff and quick service make it perfect for a tasty and affordable business lunch. We chose the full menu of the day and ate a first course, second course with side dish, water, and a glass of wine for just €10. The restaurant's vintage décor adds a touch of charm to the osteria. We'll definitely be back!

We had the ravioli and an apple dessert. Everything was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was very calm and cozy, and Eduardo was extremely friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

BAR CAFFETTERIA IL MELOGRANO

19/03/2026: Excellent place!! We not only had a delicious cake, but they also have a great variety of preserves and the daily menu was delicious!!! The staff were very friendly. I'm thinking of moving to Pavia so I can go more often.
09/03/2026: A little too nostalgic for the '80s in my opinion. Decorations everywhere, service on a trolley, and a piece of paper at the table. My cream brioche, I suspect, had been defrosted, and the (very small) cream had been cooked inside. The cappuccino was truly generous. I found the prices to be very high. I was disappointed that this was my experience, as it's a place with an excellent reputation.
