Great restaurant with amazing staff. Friendly service and helpful in choosing dishes. Food excellent. We were almost alone in the restaurant in the evening and it's a big shame. It deserves a much bigger clientele.

I think it was my favorite restaurant in Rome. A bit hidden, but always filled with locals and some tourists like us. The food was well served. Portions and prices were fair. The location and decor were appropriate for an Italian seafood restaurant. And the best of all is the attitude of the staff. Antonio was a very warm and generous person. He helped us choose our dishes, was kind to the two girls we had, and was fun to be with. I will definitely recommend it and will return on my next trip to Rome.

This restaurant is a refreshing surprise in the busy centre of Rome. There are locals with not a lot of tourism. The staff speaks good English so everyone is welcome and will be helped accordingly with the norms and values that is befitting this beautiful restaurant.

Piccolo ristorante di pesce nascosto in un traversa di via Rasella nel cuore di Roma. Assolutamente non turistico. Pesce freschissimo cucinato in modo magistrale. Presi degli ottimi paccheri con sugo di polpo e una tagliata di tonno che si scioglieva in bocca. Mia moglie ha preso degli ottimo spaghetti a Vongole e del polpo arrosto cotto in maniera superba: morbido ma consistente. Servizio eccellente e simpatico. Essendo non grandissimo è molto consigliata la prenotazione.

Bella esperienza con il Corsaro Barberini che abbiamo scelto, avendo una gift card, per le recensioni e per la vicinanza alla mostra Caravaggio 2025 che era la meta culturale della giornata. Abbiamo scelto due primi (ottimi i paccheri al ragù di polpo), una buonissima tagliata di tonno (cotta bene, saporita) accompagnata da carciofi alla giuria, la zuppa inglese ed il tiramisù. Servizio molto cortese e gift card e sconti applicati prontamente. Consigliato!!!

08/06/2025: Small place, very welcoming discovered thanks to my daughter. As soon as we arrived we were welcomed by Andrea and his staff, struck by the friendliness in displaying his dishes. The place is small 5/6 tables I think a maximum of 20 people and is located in Torraccia. We had a mixed appetizer, which included a platter of very good cold cuts and cheeses, some special ricottas that I must say were exquisite and other delicacies in the photos you see the various first and second courses all good and exquisite. Finally he recommended a new entry, a dessert made by Him. Congratulations we will be back soon I promise. Good luck
10/05/2025: I had dinner last night with 4 friends, few times have I eaten so well and, above all, I was treated so well. Very nice and helpful owner, not at all intrusive and always with a smile. When we went to pay the bill, in addition to a significant discount, he was super available for a chat, all accompanied with some truly fine rum and cocoa beans that I had never tasted before, and to make matters worse he decided to offer us a second tasting of the same rum, which very few people, especially if they were owners, would have done. As an appetizer we took a platter for 4, excellent cheeses and exceptional cured meats, especially the smoked meats. My friends and I opted to take all 4 of the different first courses, avoiding the usual carbonara or amatriciana and opting for something more sophisticated, and none of us were disappointed, everything was delicious and the portions, as well as being generous, are very full of their seasoning so that we can enjoy it with bread. Very good desserts. No flaws, the prices are more than fair for the quality of the food and the portions of the dishes, a restaurant that is not having the success it actually deserves. I will definitely return and as soon as possible. Thanks again to Andrea for the welcome and the nice chat he gave us: a young boy, with so much passion and love for his work, despite all the difficulties that this entails, always with a smile👍.
