IL CORSARO In Roma

I don't know if whoever served me was the owner but I will definitely return just to meet him. A very friendly and nice person who was able to give me the best advice for dinner which was excellent and plentiful. Highly recommended.

We had dinner at this restaurant for a friends birthday. Excellent fish dishes, very generous portions, very friendly staff without being intrusive. We will gladly return. Thanks to the staff!!

Traditional restaurant, amazing food

Great seafood! We had seafood salad, risotto alla pescatora, fettuccine with mushrooms and prawns, sliced ​​tuna, white house-wine and espresso decaf. Everything was great!

Thank you Antonio for your exceptional restaurant! We came across Il Corsaro on our last day in the city. What a chance find this was. We sat outside on the little terrace on a damp but warm Thursday afternoon early in October. We had absolutely no idea we had just stumbled across a really special fish restaurant. Run by the delightful, Antonio. We were not sure what to order, although I had decided on a starter, a fish tartare, three different fish, one of which was prawns. Antonio explained to me he had been doing this for "many, many years signora" and he would bring us something we would love. Off he went whistling and singing happily. What a lovely man and quite a character. I just knew we were in for a treat. It was indeed a beautiful meal, quite simple but beautifully cooked and delicious. My friend and I enjoyed a bottle of excellent, well priced white wine to accompany the meal. I was only sorry not to have come across Il Corsaro earlier in our stay. Fabulous!
