Il Cormorano In Castelsardo

Every time I return to Castelsardo, Ristorante Cormorano is a must! The food here is divine, especially the fish: always fresh, perfectly cooked, and presented with great care. You can truly taste the passion and quality in every dish. The staff is wonderful, kind, and super professional; they make you feel right at home. The service is impeccable, and the atmosphere is elegant yet welcoming, perfect for both a romantic dinner and an evening with friends. I recommend trying a little bit of everything, from appetizers to desserts, because every course is a tasty surprise! I've also added lots of photos, because the pictures speak for themselves: an experience not to be missed for anyone who loves good food and the Sardinian sea. 🌊🐟🍋

Absolutely fantastic food up on the hill, and it's also reasonably priced. A good wine selection and very friendly service. Highly recommended!

My group chose the fregola (typical dish) with seafood. I must say that the sauce was good. It's a shame that the good sauce was enough for two spoonfuls of fregola. To make a long story short, we spent a lot to wake up HUNGRY.

Called in for lunch here after reading Google reviews. We were not disappointed. The service was excellent friendly but knowledgeable. We asked for a local white wine as we are from California and New Zealand and after describing our palet were shown an excellent choice. The dishes themselves were superb. We were lucky the lunch service was not busy so managed to chat to the staff. Adds so much to the whole experience when you do get that interaction. Would we go again absolutely. We enjoyed our entire meal experience. From the selection of oils and breads to the dessert. You will not be disappointed.

Everything was top-notch, with high prices (starter, main course, and glass of wine €70), but the high-quality service and cuisine justify them.

Excellent in every way, the location is unfortunately a bit compromised on the outside, but inside it is still welcoming, the food exceptional and the service top notch. Ambrogio makes you feel at home, present but not intrusive, a rare quality these days. Keep up the good work.

This is the third year in a row we've been to Il Cormorano, which is becoming a tradition on our Sardinian holidays. It's a special pleasure to be recognized by the young man who now runs the restaurant and by the former owner who was passing by. Everything was excellent, as usual, even the recommended wine pairing. This time, we were surprised by the quality of the Tortolí oysters, part of the raw seafood. The larded shrimp, homemade ravioli, and line-cooked snapper were also delicious. We hope to return next year!
