Beautiful place and first class food and excellent choice!!!

It is a historic restaurant set in a Franciscan convent of the 13th century, restored to perfection and with great taste, where you can eat Umbrian specialties of excellent quality and with very attentive service. Great hospitality also from the family that has managed the restaurant for over fifty years and dedicates itself with passion and care. It is a stop not to be missed in the heart of green Umbria, also because the village of Corciano is a jewel of the Middle Ages perfectly restored and various events are celebrated there during the year such as the living Nativity scene at Christmas and the Corciano August. Furthermore, it is located a few kilometers from Perugia and Lake Trasimeno: truly an unmissable stop!

Restaurant nestled in the beauty of the village of Corciano with which it blends magnificently. Friendly staff who welcomed us even without a reservation on a particular day. Beautiful dishes to see and taste. We pleasantly discovered and appreciated some typical local dishes. The prices, one might say, adapted to the location. The presence of parking is also very convenient.

Very nice place, fast service and good food, only the prices are a bit high.. €76 two glasses of wine two portions of potatoes two plates of bruschetta a mixed arrival a bit too much..

Questo ristorante è ricavato su due piani di un antico convento francescano, massiccia costruzione di quattro piani subito fuori dalla mura di Corciano, ben restaurata. Ha quindi ampia capienza, e accoglie agevolmente anche gruppi. In particolare noi siamo stati ospitati a pianterreno, in ambienti con belle volte a crociera in mattoni, che in passato dovevano essere cantine, granai o altri locali di servizio. Quanto al cibo, esso è stato più che apprezzabile, direi delizioso. Elenchiamo: penne alla norcina (due), tagliatelle al ragù, porchetta, tagliata con rucola e grana, pollo alla cacciatora con “torta al testo”. Due contorni: insalata mista e spinaci. Un dessert: tortino al cioccolato caldo. Due calici di Umbria rosso e uno di Umbria bianco, delle cantine Lungarotti. Costo, inclusi acqua e due caffè, per tre adulti e una bambina, di circa 160 euro. Non prezzi stracciati dunque, ma equi se comparati alla qualità; e anche alla quantità. La celerità del servizio – comunque premuroso - è stata accettabile, probabilmente favorita anche dal fatto che siamo stati fra i primissimi clienti ad accomodarci. Unico avvertimento: se non gradite l’aceto nell’insalata, fatelo presente. A noi è arrivata già condita.
