Il Colombaro In Salò

Positive experience, polite and friendly staff. Without The Fork, it's a bit pricey, but then again, we're on the lake, so that's understandable.

A few hundred meters from the main road leading to Salò, you turn up a hill and enter a relaxing oasis. Kudos to the chefs for providing us with unique combinations and flavors, and to the dining room staff for guiding us through the evening with such kindness and courtesy!

The food was excellent, the service very friendly and the prices incredibly reasonable!

A magnificent experience in an elegant location with meticulously prepared dishes and innovative, interesting pairings. Special credit goes to the impeccable, welcoming, and professional waiter. Highly recommended, even for dinner with friends (as was our case)!

We only went for dinner, and I must say it offers much more than what the reviews suggest. It's a place immersed in nature, mosquito-free, very peaceful and romantic. The dinner was excellent in every way, as was the kindness and hospitality.

Soggiornando una notte a Moniga del Garda mi sono fatta consigliare da The Fork e ho trovato questo locale molto carino all’interno di un golf club. Trovato un po’ a fatica a dir la verità, a causa di lavori presso il viale che conduce alla struttura. Il ristorante ha un bellissimo porticato, peccato che il tempo non permettesse ancora di usufruirne. All’interno le pareti verdine ricordano i prati esterni… e anche i simpatici coniglietti di finta erba presenti su ogni tavolo! Il menù è vario (carne, pesce e vegetariano), i prezzi sono onesti dato la zona molto turistica. I piatti che abbiamo ordinato ci sono piaciuti molto, quello che ho apprezzato è l’originalità anche se a livello di sapore, per i miei gusti, mancava qualcosina. Per citare qualche piatto provato: bignè ripieni di taleggio di capra, asparagi e tartufo (un piatto mai visto prima!), caramelle di pasta alla salvia ripiene di capretto e cipolle stufate e il mio preferito: sorbetto al limone e menta decorato con meringhe, frutta fresca e foglie di menta. Il coperto costa 4€ ma è giustificato dal fatto che comprende un buon pane caldo servito con una cremina speziata al curry, un’entratina di benvenuto (nel mio caso una bavarese al grana padano) e dei buoni frollini col caffè. Servizio cortese e abbastanza veloce… unica pecca, per un locale di buon livello come questo, portare il vino già nel bicchiere e non servirlo al tavolo. Consigliato a qualsiasi tipo di clientela.

I was sceptical, having booked with the fork, the menu was limited for us... but I changed my mind... from the care taken in the plating to the flavour, each dish was excellent. Very fresh meat, the only flaw is that the ribs are too fatty. They pampered us and honored us with wonderful tastings. Five star customer care. Exceptional dishes and quality. The service is good even if they don't serve the woman first but very attentive and kind. Very welcome musical background. Very clean environment and location.. Elegant and intimate. Optimal. Just a little expensive despite the fork discount but it's worth it. Highly recommended.

Abbiamo cenato in questo ristorante scoprendo dei piatti decisamente buoni, in particolare le Caramelle di pasta fresca farciti con ossobuco e la sua gremolada, ma anche i Bignè farciti. Buonissimi anche i secondi. I prezzi un po' alti ma la qualità c'è, il posto è carino ed è gestito bene. Insomma consigliato.
