A gluten-free and lactose-free pizza (even lactose-free provolone) that is a real pizza, with a nice high crust!!!!! A delight!!!!

Really good pizza, fantastic desserts!

My family and I were pleasantly surprised. I've been celiac for two years, and I rank pizzas first by the dough and then by the quality of the ingredients. Almost all the pizzas I've tried so far have been "slimy and soggy" under the plate, which is nauseating to me. This one from Guardascione, however, was excellent, dry, and without any strange aftertaste. I was lucky enough to be able to try three flavors because both my husband and brother chose the gluten-free one. All three were good. I tried the Vanvitelli, the Signora Margherita, and the Violetta, but the one I liked best was the one I chose: the Vanvitelli, delicious, out of this world; the Signora Margherita, an excellent alternative to the regular Margherita; the Violetta, good even if I wouldn't have chosen it, simply because the "problem" is mine, in that I don't prefer potatoes on pizza. There were so many unique flavors with attractive combinations, in fact the choice was difficult, flavors that are difficult to find elsewhere and will therefore definitely encourage us to return. The gluten-free mixed fried food was perfect for two people to share, "small but plenty" pieces so you can try more varieties of fried foods. The only thing that didn't amaze us were the desserts, absolutely good, but "classic" and therefore not classified as "hard to find" like the pizzas are, unfortunately the only more "unusual" dessert was not gluten-free, the pastiera-flavored semifreddo 😢. PS something absolutely appreciated upon request and that not everyone does: having the pizzas delivered to the table already cut, for those who want to share them, is absolutely a significant advantage, the pizza arrives directly in the center of the table and by asking for extra plates everyone takes their own piece. Prices? There are certainly cheaper pizzerias, but considering the quality, service, and uniqueness, and last but not least, the SEPARATE KITCHEN FOR GLUTEN-FREE DISHES, all of this makes the price absolutely justified and in line with the experience. Today I went and we waited 30 minutes for our antipasto. Then another 30 minutes for 2 pizzas that are classics. Nothing extraordinary out of the ordinary. The waiter did not even come by and say anything. Service is now 2 stars. 😞. We needed up asking the waiter and he put our order in. They forgot our order. 😞

At Federico Guardascione - Il Colmo del Pizzaiolo, we enjoyed two excellent pizzas, one of which was gluten-free: light dough, well-cooked, and topped to perfection. The celiac service is impeccable, with a separate, completely sterile oven, free from contamination. The gluten-free fried appetizer was a real surprise: crispy, flavorful, and irresistible. An experience worth repeating, even just to try the many other pizzas on the menu.
