What can I say... right from the start I was speechless at the fantastic location, the property welcomed us with open arms with my little French Bull dog puppy! Fantastic place, fragrant and very well looked after... exceptional dishes and wine! I will definitely come back

Very well looked after place right on the lake shore, with a breathtaking view. With just a few tables, the place is small and if the weather is bad it is best to call and reserve a seat Outside, however, if the weather is good, there will be many more tables surrounded by greenery.

It's called Chiosco di Cerro but in reality it is a very pleasant restaurant on the Perabò lakeside (Cerro, Laveno Monbello). In an enviable position almost on the beach, it offers both restaurant and bar service. Shady and cool environment thanks to the locality's centuries-old lime and plane trees. Accurate and friendly service; Sea and lake dishes, good and well presented.

Very nice restaurant on the lake front with breathtaking views. The dishes are excellent, risotto with spectacular perch fillets and so are the fish main courses. The desserts are also very good and tasty. The service was attentive and kind. An excellent address for romantic lunches and dinners with a priceless view of Lake Maggiore. Absolutely worth trying again.

Excellent family lunch, in a beautiful location by the lake. Nice dishes and good quality of food. Prices are appropriate to the proposals. Friendly staff.

Excellent place for both an aperitif and a dinner overlooking the lake. Priceless sunset. I recommend fried fish and risotto with perch.

23/12/2024: Very beautiful and particular location, certainly a very respectable business card. Furnishings so minimal that they seem poor. I understand that this may be the trend towards walls with paintings and furniture, but given the villa, a sideboard, a buffet, a plate rack and some carpets wouldn't be out of place, on the contrary. Good food. Quality raw materials cooked with refined craftsmanship. Discrete table service (in the sense of respecting the guest's privacy), perhaps too much though. With what you charge for a quality bottle of wine, there's no way I should be the one to pour it into the glass. Price not in line with the experience that the chef wants to offer.
22/11/2024: Sono sempre molto critico sulla ristorazione gallaratese, perché spesso i prezzi non sono giustificati dalla qualità dei piatti. Al Wood, in diverse occasioni, a pranzo, a cena e anche in occasione di una festa privata, ho sempre apprezzato sia il servizio che i piatti, molto curati anche in occasione del menu del pranzo.

13/01/2025: I went to the restaurant for an anniversary, excellent food and service, incredibly romantic location and atmosphere, you won't find better places for a romantic dinner..
11/01/2025: We had lunch as guests of a friend in this wonderful restaurant (and hotel but we did not stay). After the delicious appetizer based on cooked egg barzotto alla carbonara, with pecorino cream and crispy bacon, we moved on to the second course, the Prussian Manzetta in Sichuan pepper sauce shaded with Borducan. Since the ritual was so good, we returned to the first courses, their risotto waiting to be discovered. Friendly staff ready to meet customer needs. The Christmas decorations still present made the lunch even more evocative. Excellent location with a view of Varese and the province. You have to try it once.
