Recommended by a local shopkeeper, we had lunch in this delightful trattoria. Friendly, attentive and kind staff. The menu makes you want to order everything, we ate the famous tortellini both in broth and with really good butter and sage, not to mention the exquisite desserts. Super super recommended we will be back for sure. It is truly fortunate that these ports where tradition meets taste still exist.

Trattoria il Cavallino gave us a delicious lunch during our visit to Borghetto and Valeggio sul Mincio. Emanuela's welcome was warm and professional, while the quality of the food and drinks proved to be excellent. The restaurant, with its family atmosphere and lovely outdoor area, is welcoming and pet-friendly. A place that knows how to perfectly combine local gastronomic tradition with genuine hospitality. Advised!

I must say a pleasant surprise, few people perhaps because it is not very visible, a little hidden in an alley, but the food and the service deserve 5 stars because it cannot be given 4 and a half, but since it is more towards 5 I give the maximum score, the only flaw is the sauces that accompany the boiled meat which are too watery, perhaps kept too long in the fridge, the boiled meat is also very good but releases a bit of water which is not good, it needs to be drier and perhaps cut differently, I come from an area where boiled meat is a culture and so perhaps I'm a little polemical about this

Quiet and basic inn, excellent dishes, very kind staff as well as the owner who is always available.. I had dinner and stayed overnight alone months ago, modern and comfortable rooms, later I also brought my wife and daughter.. why?? Because it feels like home..

Personale super gentile e disponibile.
Piatti molto buoni e della tradizione del territorio. Mio marito ha provato la degustazione di tortelli e tortellini che era un piattone bello grande e altrettanto buono. Io ho provato la tagliata che era davvero un burro.
Molto buoni i vini di loro produzione.

È la seconda volta che andiamo a Valeggio in questo posto alloggiando nelle camere della locanda e cenando nel ristorante. Il cibo servito è molto buono, soprattutto gli antipasti,
oltre ai famosi tortelloni di Valeggio. La stanza è molto curata ed il prezzo è molto onesto
