I made a last minute stay for a visit to Battle Plan with my family and I discovered a wonderful place!!!! The kindness, friendliness and hospitality is embarrassing for how high quality and above all sincere it is. The girls are amazing. I ate and slept like God!! I am happy to have discovered this place where I will return as soon as possible!!!! Highly recommended!!!!

Beautiful place, excellent clean and tidy B&B and what about the pizzeria restaurant?! All really very good. Experience to be redone.

Great place to eat, great quality ingredients and good service

During a weekend at Petralia Sottana, we made a reservation about 15 days in advance. When we arrived, the place was not full. It was 8.15pm. Afterwards, all the tables got busy. There were 7 of us: someone ordered pizza, others only a first course, others only a second course; anyway, one course each. We've waited a really long time. While the other tables were being served, we were still waiting, with the response: "The kitchen is clogged!". We asked for bread for the little ones, and they brought us a basket with 4 counted slices! They served the second course without bread and above all without a side dish, which was only brought after several requests. The main error concerns the gluten-free pizza, for which an unacceptable error was made. Furthermore, it was a frozen pizza cooked in the microwave. Since they had asked us to remind them a few days before of the presence of gluten intolerant people, we would never have imagined that we would be served a frozen pizza! The room staff was a bit young in my opinion, with not much experience when the room was full. The other lady in the room, however, was quite grumpy. The first courses are very good, the second courses are average. Perhaps expectations were different, given the countless positive reviews.

They returned after 3 years. Even better is the service from the boys and girls who care about us. Almost zero waiting times and with full rooms. The dishes and the offer are truly excellent. Recommended: The baked pork shank, a true delicacy not to mention the ravioli stuffed with porcini mushrooms in a walnut sauce. Really everything was excellent. Well done. Oh I didn't stay so I can't describe the rooms.

What can I say, an excellence of the place!!! We returned this year and like three years ago, we had a great time!! Friendly and professional staff, always available! The rooms are excellent. Exceptional cuisine, both restaurant, excellent pizzas and sandwiches.. Congratulations again to everyone! I highly recommend!!

If you are looking for an authentic dining experience, this place is a must. Their attention to the quality of the ingredients and the preparation of each dish is simply impeccable. Pasta is a joy for the palate: fresh, tasty and accompanied by sauces that enhance the traditional flavours. I have never tried such balanced tagliatelle with meat sauce, with a rich seasoning and a perfect consistency. Moving on to the meat, it is clear that the selection is made with care. I tasted a cut that melted in the mouth, cooked to perfection and served with side dishes that enhanced the taste. The atmosphere of the restaurant is warm and welcoming, ideal for both a romantic dinner and a family lunch. The staff is friendly, professional and always ready to recommend the right dish based on personal tastes. A place that manages to combine tradition and quality in every detail. I will definitely be back!
