My partner and I are extremely satisfied because we ordered a pizza that wasn't on the menu, yet they were kind enough to prepare it exactly as we requested: a crust-filled pizza filled with ricotta and mortadella. The tiramisu was delicious, and beautifully presented in a very cute little pan. They really made our wish come true! ​Furthermore, the service was very quick and they immediately understood our request.

A beautiful and welcoming place, professional service, but I didn't like the pizza, especially regarding the toppings: no vegetables in oil thrown on top of the pizza, no olives from a bag. I'm sorry to give a negative review, I reserve the right to return in the future and try again. Greetings from Modena.

We visited Il Casottino restaurant and had a truly excellent experience. The menu is extensive and carefully curated, offering both meat and fish options, all very inviting. We started with a fish appetizer: perfectly crispy croquettes served in a delicious garlic sauce, balanced and not too intense. Next, we tried two first courses: spaghetti allo scoglio, packed with the freshest seafood and an authentic seafood flavor, and spaghetti with buffalo mozzarella, pistachios, and shrimp tartare, a creamy and fragrant dish with a truly delightful interplay of textures. The fried fish was also excellent: light, dry, and plentiful. To finish, we chose a Sacher torte and a tarte tatin: both perfect, well-made, and carefully served. Attentive and friendly service, a welcoming atmosphere, and truly memorable dishes. Highly recommended!

27/01/2026: An unassuming restaurant with an attached delivery service/takeout pizzeria. Delicious food in generous portions at very reasonable prices. All the dishes we tried over three evenings were worth the price. Friendly and attentive service.

04/01/2026: A great spot for a quick lunch before continuing on to Balcone d'Italia (about another 2-3 minutes by car), with convenient and ample outdoor parking. The menu is typical mountain fare with some Valtellina influences. The restaurant is all wood and quaint, with beautiful windows. The dishes are well-portioned and generally well-balanced (we weren't crazy about the pizzoccheri, though, nor the pear and chocolate cake). The welcome and treatment of some of the wait staff (I'm especially referring to the lady with very short hair) definitely need improvement. She was completely indifferent to helping us open the front door despite seeing us with a stroller, and was too hasty both in seating us and taking our order (just to ask for a drink, between one word and another she left the table, leaving us alone without being able to complete our order, so much so that we had to turn to another colleague of hers 😅). Prices are definitely fair.
