Il Carpaccio-Ristorante e Pizzeria In Comiso

26/09/2024: We went to Soda Thanks as two couples for a rare evening out without the kids while on holiday in Santa Maria del Focallo. We had a fantastic table right on the shoreline, and could see the waves lapping in even as it got dark. The food was absolutely fantastic - we shared a mixed starter, then tuna steak, swordfish steak, beef steak and a pasta dish, washed down with two excellent bottles of Sicilian wine. The ambience developed as the night progressed; from quiet seafront restaurant (we were one of the first tables in, at 8:15pm) through to full-on 80s disco complete with hen party by the end! Slightly surreal but didn’t detract from the excellence of the food and drink. Special mention to Giuseppe who, with his excellent English, helped us non-Italian speakers interpret the menu and order what we wanted at every stage. Thank you!!

14/08/2024: Locale splendido a ridosso di un mare meraviglioso. Abbiamo cenato venerdì 9 agosto, arriviamo e dopo un piccolo problema, brillantemente risolto dal titolare ( Fabio ), passiamo un ottima serata : cena fantastica praticamente sulla sabbia, servizio impeccabile, concludiamo la serata con musica anni 70, che ci fa ballare per tutta la notte.
