Il Capanno In Sant'agnello

I was on vacation with my mom in Sant'Agnello at the end of August, and we stumbled upon this fantastic restaurant at the end of our stay. The value for money is excellent compared to the surrounding restaurants. A pizza Margherita for €7? A dream! The staff was also very friendly; one of the waiters immediately made an effort to speak German after learning where we were from. Highly recommended!

If you're in Sant'Agnello in Sorrento and don't know where to go, don't miss it. The atmosphere is peaceful, the waiters are all very friendly, and the food is AMAZING. Maybe it could use a little updating. But it's clean and very spacious.

I can't give this place more than three stars because I've seen it change over the years—unfortunately, for the worse. From the harmonious and tasty dishes of three years ago to peppery dishes (on mussel soup and mixed fried fish... perhaps to hide some less-than-fresh fish?!?) and portions equivalent to a couple of bites. The portion size wouldn't be an issue if it weren't for the overpriced fare (€50 per person without wine): €15 for a small octopus appetizer with celery and walnuts; €25 for a grilled fish platter where the fish was more than half the size (for example, the salmon was only a quarter of a fillet and the octopus had half a tough tentacle). The service was quick but not overly cheerful. The atmosphere was bright and spacious (we went three nights ago, and it was sparse for a Sunday evening in August, which should have put me off going in). Let's hope it improves next year ✨

Amazing food and service - Diavola pizza and gnocchi were exceptional

The best lasagna I've ever had!! And the pizza was excellent, as were the other main dishes we had. The service was impeccable. Although the place isn't anything great, the food is very good.

Excellent dinner, delicious and fun appetizer. The first course was expertly prepared, and the pizza had a delicious crust! A simple yet substantial place! Impeccable service. Highly recommended!

If locals eat here, it must be delicious 😊. We were a group of 13 people with children, everyone left happy after dinner, and we came back several times.

Came across this place accidentally. So happy I did! We started out with the stuffed fried zucchini which was delicious. Caprese salad was light and fresh. And the pizza was really good!!! My husband enjoyed his smoked salmon and pistachio pizza!

The food was okay, but unfortunately the service was not friendly.

What a great experience, we came back two nights in a row and saw some repeat guests. The price and quality to the food is great and the owner/ head waiter is amazing. Highly recommend and would come back when in the area
