Il Cantuccio In Subiaco

We had a great meal and were greeted warmly. We booked because we were coming from Rome because we'd tried to have lunch at Cantuccio at least twice, but it was always packed!!! Excellent food and excellent service. I recommend trying it! Even the surprise of the sugar packet for my zodiac sign! 🤗

A very nice place. The dishes are refined without neglecting part of the local tradition. The pasta is homemade, the service excellent, with explanations of each dish. The staff is very knowledgeable, and the chef is memorable. Prices are very fair. What can I say? A surprising discovery. Highly recommended.

Il Cantuccio was a truly pleasant discovery. Located in the lower part of Subiaco, just steps from the former paper mill, it's a great place to park and take a lovely stroll along the Aniene River. The service from the wait staff was impeccable. As for the food, their carefully crafted and beautiful dishes invite you to photograph them before you even eat them. We had the spinach gnocchi with sausage and mushrooms, and they were delicious, as was the pasta with zucchini flowers, cherry tomatoes, and crispy bacon. For the main course, one of the best dishes I've had in recent years: their braised beef was fabulous, as was the chicory. We went on a Sunday for lunch, and reservations are a must. They have two times: 12:30 and 2:30. I can't wait to go back.

Very welcoming place, attentive staff and very good food, we couldn't finish the first courses because the portions were very large, we definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Subiaco. 👍🏻

Abbiamo pranzato, previa prenotazione, nel porticato di questo ristorante nel centro di Subiaco. Abbiamo mangiato molto bene, personalmente ho app moltissimo gli gnocchi con l'agnello e la guangia di maialino. Voglio inoltre sottolineare la cortesia e la gentilezza dei camerieri. Buono il rapporto qualità/quantità prezzo.
