A lovely place with outdoor seating, offering tasty, well-prepared traditional dishes. I tried the shepherd's eggs with tomato sauce, sausage, and crusco peppers, and the orecchiette with turnip tops and fried bread. Both dishes were completely satisfying.

A perfect meal in Matera, with excellent service and spectacular food. We had shepherd's egg, melanzane alla parmiggiana, and a typical Matera salad.
Then we had ravioli stuffed with burrata.
Everything was delicious.
An excellent choice in Matera.

A nice surprise. We were looking for a restaurant with a view, but we finally opted for this one, and we did well.
The veal cheek was succulent.
The bacala too, and the orecchiette were delicious. The desserts were very good, especially the ricotta with honey and almonds. In short, stop here, it's fantastic!

We loved it! We have a discerning palate, and it was truly incredible! We ordered the capocollo with melon as a starter, and it was delicious! And then some pasta, burrata and zucchini ravioli... INCREDIBLE
We ordered food outside, which was divine! It has a lovely street!

Cena al Cantuccio: locale raccolto e un solo altro tavolo oltre al nostro. Del resto è una domenica sera piovosa in bassa stagione. Le nostre scelte: ottime bruschette con pomodorini, stracciatella e peperone crusco; burratina in crosta con cime di rapa , ricottina con fichi e miele, ravioli ripieni di brasato con scaglie di tartufo, guancia di vitello brasata all’Aglianico su crema di fave, per finire creme brûlé con peperone crusco spezzettato. Tutto buono, rapporto qualità prezzo nella norma.
