Beautiful place in the center of Bologna, highly recommended. The food is exquisite and of excellent quality. The staff welcomes you with a smile, which brightened my day. I hope to return to Bologna soon; I won't miss Il Cantuccio.

A small but truly pleasant and welcoming restaurant. Impeccable service and great courtesy. The dishes are very tasty, beautifully presented, and of excellent quality. The tasting menu is perfect for sampling the various courses. What can I say... absolutely worth a try!

Small and well set out seafood restaurant. We happened on it by chance and glad we did. I had a 5 course tasting menu which was excellent value and extremely tasty. The octopus was some of the best I've tried anywhere in the world and cooked to perfection. The service was excellent and friendly. Bologna in general is full of smiles but the lady who served us made us feel very welcome and well looked after. If you are looking for a good food experience and seafood, this place is a hidden gem!

Fish, I really ate fish. Impeccable quality, well-prepared dishes, clean location, and truly kind and knowledgeable staff. During my lunch break at work, I felt like I was on vacation. I'll be back. A truly wonderful discovery.

08/11/2025: A typical osteria in the hills outside Bologna. One of the last to bear this name! Regional cuisine, not a huge selection, but authentic flavors prepared with top-quality ingredients. Generous portions, fast service, and friendly, helpful staff. Five of us ate, each with a first and second course with truffles, side dish, dessert, coffee, and 1 liter of wine to share for less than €50 each! The atmosphere is rustic, but more than suitable for a good meal with friends.
17/10/2025: My experience in this place was magnificent especially for the waiters, especially that curly-haired waitress with orange hair who made me have a wonderful experience thanks to her passion for cooking and food and I had noticed this right away thanks to the wonderful experience apart from those at the next table who smelled of Indian.

09/12/2025: Had lunch on the way back from Imola...excellent osteria with traditional dishes. Professional service from the host/owner. Very friendly...the kitchen is well done. Well done everyone.
09/12/2025: We had a family lunch on the way home from Bologna and had a wonderful time. The food was excellent and the staff were very friendly. A quiet place that makes you feel at home.
