During the week, on Tuesday and the Saturday just passed, with seven other friends, I go to this place. Comfortable place, good food, prices in line with the market, now normally over the top.
On Tuesday three out of seven of us ask for the same dish, and this is brought on a single tray, in the spirit of "share it yourselves"..
On Saturday, among the different courses, we also order two seafood appetizers and two spaghetti allo scoglio. We ask for single courses to be served. The waitress informs us that this is not possible, unless it is a single order, while in the case of two, the provisions call for a tray for two people. I ask why this is not possible, but I get no answer. Is it possible? We are arranged in no particular order, seafood appetizers and spaghetti allo scoglio in the "share it yourselves" mode, which would have meant a guaranteed mess. I therefore ask the person in the restaurant who seemed to be responsible for it, and perhaps because he had already been warned by the waitress, when asked why it was not possible to serve the order as requested, he answers dryly "it is like that, let alone on Saturdays"!
I answer: but why is it not possible? Answer, with an even less tolerant tone: "I told you it is like that"! They say that the Customer is always right, and I am not so convinced of this, but in this case, what did it cost to meet the Customer? In doing so it seemed like an obstinacy, a question of principle.
I must also add that on both evenings, at the entrance of the restaurant, which I remember was also a pizzeria, the announcement "no pizza" was displayed. Is it because the other courses, at a higher price, guarantee a greater profit?
In any case, given the treatment reserved for a Customer, who I remember was the reason for the existence of a commercial activity, irritated by the unconciliatory tone of the restaurateur, and his lack of common sense, I decided to leave the restaurant.
I know they didn't suffer much. But that's how it is...

An "old-fashioned" restaurant in terms of hospitality, familiarity and taste.
Generous portions, we usually take an appetizer for two, and then a dish each to share... I absolutely recommend it!!!
And, book, because even though it is spacious, it is always full ❤️

A habit over the years.
Good service, good food, generous portions.
I've been going there all my life and the quality has remained unchanged over time. If you pass through Versilia, it's worth a stop.

Cena tra amici provando varie portate. Ottimo l'antipasto misto e buona la grigliata di mare. Baccala' alla brace così così, Scoglio da 6. Filetto diPesce al forno NO. Porzioni epiche, conto onesto. Vino della casa il fermo imbevibile, il frizzanti decente. Locale classico , friendly.
Cena con compagni di classe del 1986... Ottima scelta, sia per la qualità del cibo, che per l'accoglienza ed il prezzo. Antipasti di terra buoni, ottimi quelli di pesce. Ravioli al ragù di carne e spaghetti ai frutti di mare perfetti. Bravi, si può fare anche ottima ristorazione come la vostra, a prezzi contenuti. A presto.
