We had lunch here after visiting the Stiffe Caves. The food was excellent (both appetizers and main courses), but I also want to emphasize the kindness of the service, and more! The waiter even followed us out to give us something we'd forgotten! I highly recommend it!

During our stay in Rocca di Cambio, we dined at Ristorante Il Caminetto, nestled in the Sirente-Velino Regional Natural Park, and were thrilled. As soon as we entered, we were warmly greeted by the staff, who escorted us to our table in the lower room: a rustic, warm, and familiar atmosphere where you immediately feel at home. The cuisine is typical of Abruzzo, and you can taste it from the first bite: the mixed antipasto of local cured meats and cheeses was a great start, with authentic and well-balanced flavors. The pork shank was the true star of the dinner: incredibly tender, it pulled apart on its own, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. All accompanied by an excellent house wine. The other menu items, all well-designed, also showcase local tradition using quality ingredients. The portions are generous, the quality/price ratio excellent, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. At the end of the meal, in addition to the classic sweets and liqueurs, the restaurant also offers an original and traditional twist: sweets dipped in artisanal liqueurs. We tried the licorice and aniseed ones—an original and delightful way to end the evening. A tip: if you visit in the summer, book well in advance to eat on the terrace. Without a doubt, Il Caminetto is the best restaurant in Rocca di Cambio—and perhaps in the entire area. Highly recommended!

We ate at this restaurant on a Sunday lunch. A very charming, rustic-style restaurant with several dining rooms, including a lovely terrace where you can dine while admiring the view. The menu offers traditional Abruzzo dishes, and the portions are generous. Among the first courses, the tortelloni were truly delicious, plump and well-filled. The meat-based second courses were also flavorful and of excellent quality. The service was kind and courteous, but at times it was a bit slow and inattentive, and we had to ask for a few items more than once. Overall, we had a good time and it was a wonderful experience. The prices were absolutely fair.

Ristorante caratteristico con una cucina eccellente. Materie prime ottime cucinate con sapienza. Dagli antipasti ai dolci. Ottima carta dei vini. Bravi!

Ottima cucina, ambiente pulito e accogliente credo a conduzione familiare. Il menu offre svariate tipologie sia di primi che di secondi di carne. Pertanto lo consiglio vivamente. Non ho dato una max valutazione perchè credo che si possa fare di meglio. Le sedie per esempio con la seduta in paglia sarebbero da cambiare sono scomodissime.
