Tony and Alex are the real deal as are their respective spouses, all of which are there every day making sure everyone is happy. For us, this is the perfect place - the balance between casual family atmosphere and great, authentic food. We live in Palermo a few months every year, and this is the first place we return, and the last place before we leave.

Gorgeous! Unexpected and excellent An unforgettable Sicilian culinary experience - It was a great discovery in a nice neighborhood - I highly recommend - a little outside the classic tourist circuits. The welcome is very pleasant with a hint of humor!

If you are looking for authentic and good Palermo food in a very friendly and pleasant environment you are in the right place. Quality, kindness, good wine and fair prices. And I suggest it to you because I am defined as "unpleasant". The caponata is worthy of Montalbano. The almond semifreddo is unforgettable. Enjoy your meal!

Thank you for a wonderful dinner!!! sardine meatballs, spaghetti ink cuttlefish and bucatini with sardines as I remember only at my partner's mother's house. A little bread to make the slipper and a good white wine to accompany. Absolutely recommended!

Locale spartano senza troppi fronzoli ed era proprio quello che cercavamo. Buon servizio cordiale e attento. Lo consiglio fortemente se siete a Palermo. Buon rapporto qualità/ prezzo

voto massimo tutto meritato sia per la bontà della cucina sia per la gentilezza e simpatia dei titolari Tony e Alex. Abbiamo cenato divinamente ed il giorno dopo siamo passati per il pranzo prima di andare in aereoporto per assaggiare qualche altro piatto. Tutti buonissimi sia i primi che i secondi ed i dolci. Se siete a Palermo e’ obbligatorio passare ad assaggiare le specialità del Cambusone.

24/11/2024: Were there in November, a beautiful place, stone coast, clean sanitary facilities, about 1km to the next town, had 1 dog without any problems Would love to come back
19/11/2024: We stayed there for two nights at the end of September. The sanitary facilities are well maintained and there is scalding hot water included in the price for rinsing off or showering. The ACSI flat rate includes €3 of electricity per night, which confused us at first. The pool with sea water is a great thing. However, very unspectacular for the children. You can quickly walk across the bridge to the next town. Great! As a negative point, it should be mentioned that some places nearby do not have any water sources. To fill up the water or to wash your hands briefly... There are two entrances to the sea, but both are stone beaches. If you try to swim, the worst case scenario is that you'll break your knuckles. However, we were able to admire the sea crabs and sea urchins with our children between the large stones. A suggestion would be to build a jetty that would make it possible to swim in the sea.

Ristorante La Brace

03/03/2025: This was a lovely dining experience in Cefalù. Our party of four came on a Sunday evening with a 7:30 PM reservation we made earlier that day. We arrived and were promptly seated. Davide was incredibly gracious and helpful. One of the folks in our party is vegetarian and he helped us out with some swaps to make some dishes vegetarian. He walked us through the specials and the wine options as well as some questions we had about some menu items. The food we had was all incredibly flavorful and we enjoyed each dish. The standouts were the chicken liver, Sicilian stuffed meat rolls, rigatoni al rustico, and the spaghetti with pesto & swordfish. The rabbit also came recommended from our hotel concierge, but there were too many good options to pass up! Highly recommend coming here and worth making a reservation as it is a very popular spot with all of the locals as well!
02/03/2025: They took great care of us, the service was super attentive. We ordered the onion soup, it came with spectacular butter. Carpaccio and a pasta. We accompany it with some beers. Perhaps compared to other places in Sicily, they were a bit pricey. But it is worth it without a doubt. Highly recommended restaurant.
