We stopped by for dinner.
The food was good, but the portions were too small for the price.
The lady was a bit pushy with orders.

A good trattoria serving traditional Piedmontese dishes. The food is good, but portions aren't generous. Good service, with a friendly and helpful waitress.

On a business trip, I happened upon Trattoria Camaleonte... but not all encounters happen by chance. Greeted with professionalism, kindness, and warmth, I enjoyed not only the homemade crostini with their dried spices, served with bread, but also a delicious chicken... or rather, a real half chicken (off the menu for the evening), also with their dried spices, and baked potatoes (peeled in wedges, or rather, with a smile). All this with the house white wine.
Clean and comfortable place.
Congratulations to everyone, see you on the next trip!

I booked a table for 15 people, and despite the small setting, they found very comfortable seating. I booked over the phone and spoke to a kind man (who I later discovered was also the chef and owner of the restaurant) who perfectly accommodated my difficult requests for various food allergies. Good, seasonal food, served in appropriately generous portions. The wait for the dishes was short. The dining room staff were attentive and efficient. Well done, well done.

We stumbled upon this place by chance! Donatella welcomed us with great enthusiasm, passion, and professionalism. The traditional appetizers were truly excellent, and the first and second courses were equally tasty and flavorful. A special mention goes to the fried artichokes, which we ordered on a whim, even though we were already full... but they were truly worth it, delicious.
Impeccable service, fair bill.

Dinner on December 13, 2025
Centrally located, just steps from Porta Nuova train station and the metro stop, in the bustling San Salvario neighborhood, this restaurant serves predominantly Piedmontese cuisine.
Consisting of two parallel spaces connected by a large "window," painted in soothing, bright colors and with high, airy vaulted ceilings, the first dominated by the large bar and the second with very simple furnishings, it offers fairly spacious seating and good acoustics, despite the necessarily limited space between tables.
Our orders were satisfying: the veal with tuna sauce was pink, moist, and generously stuffed; the mixed antipasto was pleasant, though not generous; the artichokes were expertly fried; the paccheri with artichokes and crispy bacon were al dente and well-seasoned; and the tajarin with fondue.
Creamy and rich homemade tiramisu.
Prompt, quick, and very courteous service.
Average bill, portions not always generous.
The wine list isn't very extensive, focusing on local products, but overall appropriate for a trattoria.
