We had dinner at this restaurant, accessible via a bumpy but manageable road. The dining room is large and welcoming, and we were delighted to have space for our daughter's stroller next to the table. À la carte menu. We ate wonderfully, everything was delicious! Highly recommended!

A good restaurant, but with a disappointing finish. The wait (not just for us, but for other tables as well) for payment, which lasted 30 minutes or more, was excessive. Maybe it was just Sunday.

We went here as a tour group for a lunch, the food was traditional Umbriam food sourced locally, The place it self is off the beaten track and is reached by some steep and small lanes on a very twisty road, but don't be put off by this, the food was well prepared and tasted fab, all washed down with a choice of wines. We were placed in a part of the restaurant which afforded some amazing views of the country side, all in all the effort to get here was well worth it. Staff were lovely and helpful. I am not too sure how the meal cost as it was included in our tour price, plus it was a set meal, so we didn't choose from a menu, but if anything is to go by, I would say what ever you pay would be worth it.

14/03/2026: It's a truly historic restaurant, and that's precisely why it's so special. The food is obviously excellent: we loved it so much we ended up ordering another pasta dish. Even though we were Korean, the entire staff was incredibly kind to us. They explained the menu well and gave us excellent suggestions. The atmosphere is beautiful, but what struck us most is how they continue to respect the traditions of the past. For example, they only serve wine and water, just like they did in the past, with no other beverages. It's rare and very charming. If we return to Orvieto, this place will definitely be a must-see. Thank you so much, we had a truly wonderful meal. See you soon!
10/03/2026: I arrived around 1:30 PM after visiting the Orvieto Underground. I heard they offer a chance to sample medieval Orvieto cuisine, so I went. The server was very friendly. I had the thick, round Umbrian truffle carbonara pasta and the flat fettuccine ragu pasta. Both were delicious, especially the truffle carbonara. I highly recommend it. For dessert, I ordered chocolate cake and drank it with espresso. The chocolate cake was filled with rich chocolate cream, giving it a rich chocolate flavor.

30/11/2025: La Pergola La Pergola restaurant is located in a truly picturesque alleyway: the charming entrance invites you in and promises a pleasant experience. The first part of the restaurant, however, is rather anonymous and doesn't do justice to the atmosphere that only emerges later: the internal garden, with a very well-kept and welcoming outdoor area, is undoubtedly the highlight of the place. Regarding the food, we started with the Baffo, which unfortunately turned out to be excessively salty. Next, we ordered some first courses: the toppings were good and well-balanced, but the pasta arrived a bit overcooked, which detracted from the overall experience. Among the desserts, the zuppa inglese was excellent, but the tiramisu was less convincing, falling short of expectations. The wine list is extensive, but we found several omissions, as was the case with the beers. A shame, considering the potential. The staff seemed rather distracted and not particularly knowledgeable, which impacted the overall experience. In short, La Pergola boasts a very pleasant outdoor setting and some interesting dishes, but there's room for improvement in both the cuisine and the service. It could become an excellent place with a little more attention to detail.
