Beautiful to visit, not particularly touristy. At the museum there are often very particular and interesting exhibitions

I recommend visiting the museum. Inside the courtyard they also hold very special events such as concerts.

Show Yokai. Very interesting and well set up

Thought this would be fun for my kids but they were bored. The museum description says that they show you how the orphans used to live so I thought it would be more interactive but it was mostly just reading and looking at displays. But for myself I found it incredibly interesting and informative. Definitely recommend it for adults and older kids/teens.

I went to the exhibition of Japanese prints on yokai. Renovated space with modern elements in the ancient context of the building. The exhibition was very well curated.

In the hustle and bustle of Florence, this is definitely a quiet place. Every token on display has a number, and some can be viewed up close. There are different stories in various tokens. Unknowingly, you will travel through history and enter the lives of these children to feel the original parents. The helplessness and pain of having to place children in an adoption home, but at the same time, the relief that these children have been properly placed. This demonstrates the love of God and also shines the light of human reason. In addition, the gallery will bring you unexpected surprises.

I really liked this museum. The story behind the "hospital" and what the organization for the reception of abandoned (or surrendered) children was like is impressive. Worth a visit!

A l'écart de l'agitation, au 5ème étage, grande terrasse, très belle vue sur le duomo. Bon chocolat chaud avec crème chantilly...
