At Bucchero you truly feel at home, a restaurant nestled in the charming streets of ancient Chiusi with a delightful little garden featuring a beautiful grape pergola. The owner welcomes you with kindness and affability... and you eat truly well, in great simplicity and joy. The Tuscan-style cod is exquisite... the picci with duck or garlic are wonderful... all the traditional dishes of Tuscan-Umbrian cuisine are cooked like at home... there is also pizza for those who want it... and the Tuscan-style Florentine steak is truly unsurpassed, very tender, like the fillet with bucchero... the house wine is also excellent and well-priced. I recommend it.

Today we found this restaurant in the alleys of Chiusi. We had a wonderful meal: the appetizer was delicious, the pici all'aglione was delicious, the dishes were generous, the house wine was very good, the atmosphere was nice and quiet, the staff were very friendly, it was a pleasure to find a restaurant like this. The prices were fair. Thank you 😊

A rustic yet welcoming place. The service is simple, but the food is good. The pizza is also interesting, very thin and easy to digest. Worth a try for a reasonably priced dinner.

17/01/2026: As soon as we entered the restaurant, the staff greeted us with great kindness, which made us feel very welcome. We ordered pasta and T-bone steak. The chef personally helped us choose the meat that best suited our tastes (he explained that it could be tough or fatty depending on where it was produced). He then cut the meat into the portions we ordered and showed us how to prepare it. He then explained the aging process and the meat's characteristics, step by step. This was a first-time experience. It felt wonderful to be treated with such respect. The pasta and steak arrived one after another. The taste is indescribable. It's the result of the chef's dedication and skill, the friendly waiters, the relaxed atmosphere, and the high-quality ingredients. Just one lunch for our family of three made me understand why this restaurant was named one of Italy's best restaurants in 2024 and 2025. If you want to create wonderful memories of taste and hospitality in Siena, I highly recommend this place.
