Il Brigantino In Torino

I went to the "Il Brigantino" restaurant three times at midday in the space of a few months. The service in the room is attentive, accurate and fast, the latter being particularly important during the lunch break. I find the proposals for business breakfasts very interesting, varied and focused, from €25 to €35, considering the level of the restaurant. In my opinion the raw materials are excellent, but alas, I must point out the exaggerated presence of sauces and sauces in each course which, although good, suffocate my taste and do not enhance the dish or the flavor of the fish; hence only the sufficiency in the final judgment (3/5). Those who love "cuisine française" will probably find themselves in "his" restaurant; I would not have hesitated to give 5 stars with dishes cooked by a more Italian "hand". Anyway good.

Great Piedmontese cuisine from times gone by. Tidy and quiet rooms. The food is delicious and well presented on the table. The dining room staff is very kind and professional. South Tyrolean wines are fantastic. Finally, the desserts are surprising in terms of taste and originality of implementation. The bathrooms are spotless and fragrant. Very interesting final price. To return as soon as possible.

A beautiful discovery! From the outside you wouldn't think so... but once you walk through the door the restaurant is very elegant, with round and spacious tables. The menu is worthy of a starred restaurant! All dishes are highly refined and particularly well structured for an exceptional culinary experience!!! A big thumbs up to Chef Giuseppe!!!

We went to this restaurant a stone's throw from our house on the recommendation of a friend. We were pleasantly impressed! We took the tasting menu and every single dish was superb. Attentive, courteous and professional staff. Perfect environment, few well-spaced seats, we had a really good time. We will return often.

A chef who knows how to creatively interpret traditional dishes while innovating them. Well done 👏🏼

Entrè, carciofo confit ripieno del suo salmoriglio, fagottini ripieni di ricotta di bufala e limone gambero rosso carciofi bisque di crostacei e per finire dolce spettacolare: panna cotta al carciofo, cioccolato fondente, pistacchio, spuma di menta e grue di cacao. Staff gentile e affabile. Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo!

We returned to the Brigantine, my wife and I. A return and confirmation of the excellent cuisine. The place is in a quiet street in the Campidoglio district. Anonymous exterior but, as soon as you enter, you begin to appreciate the place. Sober and quality furnishings. The staff who receives you are very kind. The room is relatively small but the tables are well spaced and the background noise is almost non-existent. Trained staff and very attentive to customers. Very good wine list. And let's get to the kitchen. Today the menu was based on artichokes, an excellent vegetable, which we appreciate very much but, in my opinion, difficult to pair with fish and wines. Yet the chef succeeded by giving a demonstration of the highest cuisine. Five excellent dishes. The wine recommended to the expert, excellent. A place that deserves at least one Michelin star. This is the fifth or sixth time but we will definitely be back. The chef promised menus based on asparagus and mushrooms in season. Finally the price. Not exactly cheap, but adequate for the cuisine, place and staff.

Siamo ritornati al Brigantino, mia moglie ed io. Un ritorno ed una conferma della eccellente cucina. Il posto è in una tranquilla via del quartiere Campidoglio. Esterno anonimo ma, già all'ingresso si comincia ad apprezzare il locale. Arredamento sobio e di qualità. Il personale che ti riceve gentilissimo. La sala è relativamente piccola ma i tavoli sono ben distanziati e il rumore di fondo quasi inesistente. Personale preparato e molto attento ai clienti. Lista dei vini molto buona. È veniamo alla cucina. Oggi il menù era a base di carciofi, una ottima verdura, che apprezziamo molto ma, a mio avviso, difficile da abbinare al pesce ed ai vini. Eppure lo chef ci è riuscito dando una dimostrazione di altissima cucina. Cinque piatti eccellenti. Il vino consigliato all'esperto, ottimo. Un posto che meriterebbe almeno una stella Michelin. Questa è la quinta o sesta volta ma ci torneremo sicuramente. Il cuoco ha promesso menù a base di asparagi e funghi in stagione. Infine il prezzo. Non proprio economico, ma adeguato alla cucina, posto e personale.
