I visited with a Sicilian friend and it was a great lunch.
I ordered insalata della nonna (grandma's salad) and grigliata mista di cavallo (grilled horse meat platter), both of which were very delicious and reasonably priced! Horse meat has a low fat content, but is sweet and tender, making it a specialty of Catania. The horse meat platter includes sausages, meatballs, steak, and more for less than 10 euros! Prices in Catania are lower than in mainland Italy, so you'll want to eat a lot of different things.
The salad consists of tomatoes and onions topped with ricotta cheese, which is also a specialty of Catania. This is a restaurant I would like to visit again when I go to Catania.

We arrived at the restaurant without a reservation and were told that the waiting time would be minimal, but unfortunately that wasn't the case, so I give 4 stars for the wait. The service was also a little slow: when we sat down, there was only one waitress in the room, who didn't immediately notice us taking the order.
That being said, the food was really great! Generous portions and very tasty dishes, with fresh and well-prepared ingredients. Despite the wait, the quality of the food certainly made up for the small initial mix-up. I will definitely be back to enjoy their dishes again!

Highly recommended, fair restaurant prices, quality food and generous portions. Fast and efficient service. Cinsiglii also penne with aubergines and swordfish, pasta with pistachio and Sicilian-style rolls.
To get a 3 tsvilo I waited just 10 minutes

Excellent for quantity/price. Good for quality. Below the sufficiency for the service (inattentive, long, confusing...). In short, superlative to fill yourself up until the next day at a good price... If you are looking for something more... there are definitely better places...

Excellent starter menu with a huge choice.
I recommend heating the room a little more, the heat from a single electric heater does not reach everywhere well, especially given that air enters from the entrance (always open) and from under the curtains. The place we were sitting was not well lit and we dined in dim light.
Overall the food was good and the prices were very honest. If I can make another suggestion, I would give the customer more time to eat. The plate was taken away from us while we were still chewing even though there were many empty tables in the restaurant.

Lots of choice, great service.
Food came very quickly. Pizzas are HUGE and very filling. Lovely atmosphere and able to take leftovers away!

Siamo stati a cena, abbiamo mangiato alcuni pizza e altri carne grigliata. Vitello, maiale e poi cavallo, tutto molto buono.
La pizza enorme, ma non speciale. Nella media, sette e mezzo.
Prezzo super, se pensiamo che siamo in centro città.
Consiglio per degustazione da turista, si spende il giusto e si mangiano tipi piatti
