Absolutely fantastic from the food to the service! A hidden gem in Ischia! No words everything was AMAZING!!! The owners were so sweet. I definitely recommend this and I will definitely be back here next time I come to Ischia!

Excellent... as if you were at home, welcoming, quiet and reserved. In a completely natural corner of the world. Food Excellent traditional cuisine with local flavors with tasty dishes of typical local cuisine.....what more do you want if you have Mom and Dad cooking, Franchino the emblematic chef of the old guard and his wife Assunta (Mamma') who cooks for you home lunches. Ingredients of excellent quality, genuine, and zero km... completely natural. Conosciuto da molti anni, quando si trovava in un altra posizione. Cuoco di grande esperienza, ma ormai in avanti con gli anni come me, chi l’aiuta non è all’altezza.Non si mangia male ma per quello che offre si può presentare in modo più vantaggioso, senza aumentare il contenuto.. Le bruschette, piatto difficilissimo, ma loro la fanno bene, ma che ci vuole mettere un filo di olio sopra. Le verdure buone, ma una giusta quantità di sale, ma chi è assente e l’olio, forse costa troppo. Olive prese dal recipiente e messe nel tagliere, ma se si mettono in una piatto, si mette dell’aglio tagliato grossolanamente, un po’ di origano, un po’ abbondante olio, cambia tutto in positivo, non si dovrebbe mettere niente se non condito.La genovese nella loro versione è buona, ma la cottura dovrebbe superare le 4 ore.Il servizio ottimo.tornerò.

We went here for a joint 40th and 50th birthday - we looked up this restaurant while in Australia so we’re just going by reviews. It was a Tuesday night so very quiet but I know at other times the place is full! Loved the homely, friendly service. The food was fantastic and the view over to Napoli and Mount Vesuvius was beautiful.

Wonderful evening, competent and disarmingly kind staff (Mimmo will remain in our fondest memories) quality, non-commercial food at an excellent price. We really felt at home and that's no small feat! People who make their job a successful mission with a grade exceeding 110 cum laude... I recommend the borghetto to everyone and I hope to be able to return soon! Thank you very much... Our week of holidays ended wonderfully thanks to the fresh frying, the first courses full of flavour, the superlative appetizers and the much love that can be felt in the kitchen and in the dining room, not to mention the view... Exaggeratedly everything super!

This place is a treat. The views. The service and the food is outstanding. If you want a traditional Ischia experience but with an elevated service offering this is the place. It is off the beaten path, and for us was a 45min drive from Sant Angelo, but a real highlight not to be missed. Thank you so much to everyone at Borghetto for proving a memory of a lifetime. Could not have been happier.

Partiamo dalla location che è unica. Proseguiamo con l'accoglienza che è sempre calorosa. Andiamo al menù che adoro, specialmente per le proposte di pesce. Accettiamo i suggerimenti di Mimmo per scegliere le pietanze e poi ci tuffiamo nei piatti, uno più buono dell'altro. Finiamo con i dolci che sono il top.... Insomma un'esperienza favolosa!

11/01/2025: I'm writing this review as soon as I left the restaurant, I went to this fantastic restaurant for lunch with my girlfriend. As soon as we entered we were greeted by the friendliness of the staff, the scents of the kitchen and the cleanliness of the rooms. We had decided to have lunch outside and despite the rain they accommodated us by organizing an indoor table, with stove and plaid, satisfying our every need. We chose the "Antro" tasting menu and a selection of Campi Flegrei wines, in every single course you could see the attention to detail in choosing the raw materials and unique flavours. We were struck by the kindness and continuous availability to satisfy every single request. Indeed, upon exit we were accompanied under an umbrella due to the rain, a gesture that we really appreciated. We will definitely return to this place to feel pampered again but above all because we have never tried such unique flavors anywhere else. Everything was really perfect, perhaps the only negative note was us as customers who decided, despite the rain, to have lunch outside and get the staff wet, we apologize for this and thank you from the bottom of our hearts for this unique experience. Highly recommended!
