Il Barrique In Bra

We spent a wonderful evening at Osteria Il Barrique, seated on their delightful terrace. The place is run by a young, dynamic, and passionate team, and this is evident in every detail. The food was excellent, with flavorful and perfectly executed dishes. We were recommended a very good Bonvin, a choice that enhanced our meal. Everything was simply perfect. The big surprise came with dessert: a silky and delicate panna cotta, probably one of the best we've ever tasted. In summary: a warm welcome, charming setting, excellent cuisine, and a fine selection of wines. We highly recommend this place and will gladly return.

Disappointing, tasteless reheated dishes, shame

Quality food and fast service. Dessert and wine were a bit small. The environment was quite noisy inside and there were lots of mosquitoes outside. We received a 30% discount when booking with The Fork.

Delicious food for little money

Great place, welcoming staff, excellent food but very limited portions...

What a find! Five minutes away from the Banca del Vino we happened upon this fantastic Osteria for lunch. We had the menu of the day which was three courses plus dessert: delicious tapas to start, incredible handmade pasta (plin is amazing!) and beef cheeks. The panna cotta to finish was smooth, delicious and like all the other bites: perfection. We dined in their lovely garden and it was a little afternoon in paradise. Super reasonable prices. Charming young staff and chef. If you're anywhere near: just GO.

Unexpected place, very cute and pleasant atmosphere. The service was a little slow but the delicious food was worth it, however the desserts were a bit ordinary. As for the spices, they were a bit high but the whole experience was worth it in the opinion of a casual customer.

Honestly, it doesn't look very good from the outside, but the staff (very young but very well-trained), the interior, and the quality and beauty of the dishes make you forget everything else. Many compliments indeed!

Sono stata con mio marito in questo locale scelto e prenotato vedendo le recensioni e dopo una bella visita alla fiera braidese con passeggiata nei dintorni. La scelta è stata positiva sotto molti punti di vista : la genuinità dei piatti, la cordialità del personale ed il locale comodo e rilassante. E' un locale comodo alla strada principale, comodo a raggiungere la citta di Bra e il territorio circostante. Lo staff è cordiale e disponibile formato da persone giovani e sorridenti. Appena arrivati si nota immediatamente la gentilezza in chi riceve e le sale del locale: a noi hanno assegnato un tavolo in una una sala finemente decorata con mattoni a vista e che dona un senso di relax e tranquillità. Abbiamo iniziato il pranzo gustando un vitello tonnato , la battuta a coltello di Fassona, i tajarin piemontesi al ragù ed i secondi, tagliata di scamone e bistecchine di carrè di agnello impanate, il tutto unito al buon vino Dolcetto delle Langhe. Tutti i piatti hanno un sapore genuino e si nota la preparazione con prodotti freschi e cucinati al momento. E' un locale da consigliare certamente a tutti per molte ragioni e soprattutto per la dedizione, l' impegno del personale come anche per l'attenzione al cliente. . Un piccolo consiglio è di mettere un'indicazione in più per un facile raggiungimento.
