IL BARRETTO In Firenze

The restaurant is located in a quiet side street right in the center. The hostess herself recommended the truffle pasta to me, and it was by far the best truffle pasta I’ve ever had – and I’ve already tried a lot, haha. Simply heavenly! Also totally recommendable: the starter and the dessert. In my case, the Parmigiana di Melanzane and the panna cotta – both were a dream! Just typically Italian, without any unnecessary frills. The staff and the atmosphere are also very inviting! I would recommend it to everyone and would come back immediately – truly a must in Florence!

Accessibility is decent, though the layout may be tight for wheelchairs or strollers—worth checking ahead if needed.

outside, but close to the tourist crowds, a friendly, intimate restaurant offering fresh and very well-cooked products: a succulent melanzane a la parmiggiana, a tasty and melting osso buco... good choice of wines... you won't be disappointed! The owner has been working for 20 years, fluttering between the tables, spreading her good humor and her eloquence... Brava!

Cozy family run restaurant with wonderful food, service, and a good wine cellar. Lobster Tagliatelle and Bistecca Florentine were highlights. Highly recommended if visiting Florence. Reservations are a must!!
