We really enjoyed this place. Seems like a locals spot, welcomes everyone. Comfy vibes, tasty dishes, mostly seafood based. Service is good. We stayed in the area for two nights and ate at Il Bar Il Mare twice, once for lunch then for dinner. Paccheri al Ragi’ di dentice (w snapper) was so tasty I had it twice. Octopus, best ever. Carpaccio di Ombrina was light and refreshing, (fish carpaccio). Paired with a delightfully crisp Vermentino di Sardegna. Bravo, excellent!

Very nice service and taste. If you’re looking for a good seafood restaurant, this place might not look fancy but definitely tastes better than fancy restaurants.

Best fish/oyster restaurant I've ever eaten in my life! Even though the waitress didn't speak our language, she did everything she could to explain the menu to us as best she could. She was very kind. I recommend their calamari and the carpaccio di ombrina.

A fantastic local seafood restaurant. Great food, good homemade wine, a fantastic intimate atmosphere. Moderate prices. I recommend it wholeheartedly!

Truly beautiful environment as the girls who are in the dining room and are very kind, very friendly, very fast and very attentive to the customer, perfect quality-price ratio the portions are abundant and first choice the fried fish and anchovies, with their chicory heritage of humanity! 5 stars and I will return

La Locanda Di Villa Rosy

16/07/2025: Ho festeggiato la mia cena di laurea con parenti ed amici alla Locanda Villa Rosy di Civitavecchia ed è stata una serata meravigliosa! Mi hanno anche permesso di mettere qualche addobbo... L’atmosfera è stata calda e accogliente, le cameriere gentilissime e sempre sorridenti, ci hanno coccolati dall’inizio alla fine. I piatti erano gustosi e abbondanti, serviti con cura e attenzione. Tutto buonissimo e delicato! Molto comodo anche il parcheggio interno, perfetto per chi arriva con più di un auto. È stata la scelta ideale per condividere un momento importante insieme alla mia famiglia ed i miei amici. Torneremo sicuramente….consigliatissimo!
