One of those restaurants where the small details make all the difference. We had the Florentina bistecca, Botticelli salad, caprese, and a glass of Chianti. Everything was beautifully prepared. The caprese in particular was a highlight: roasted capers and fresh green olive oil elevated something simple into something memorable. When the staff learned it was my husband’s birthday, they brought out a tiramisu with a candle and kindly offered it as a gift from the restaurant. Genuinely warm hospitality. Florence has no shortage of restaurants, but this one earns a return visit.

My God, what a wonderful meal they have here! I don't even dare to try to decide which was better: the taglierino al tartufo fresco or the filet di scottona di mango al pepe. Both were delicious! The Gewürtzraminer, too. P.S. the Fiorentina busteca—1.4 kg! And dessert!!!

Very welcoming place and very kind and attentive staff, not to mention the food. WOW! The Florentine steak, naturally cooked rare, was splendid and delicious. Highly recommended.

A trattoria that defies the guidebooks. A traditional restaurant with authentic cuisine and attentive service. A wonderful spot tucked away on a small street.

Great restaurant! A bit of a hidden gem in the center of Florence. We ate at the restaurant several times and were never disappointed. The staff is super friendly and attentive. We will be back next time we are in Florence.

It has a friendly atmosphere. We ordered bruschetta, tagliatella al porcino, and costata alla “Fiorentina.” The potatoes weren't essential with the meat; they didn't add any extra flavor. The meat was cooked perfectly, just as we wanted, and the pasta was delicious. For dessert, we chose panna cotta and tiramisu. Both were delicious. It seems like the right choice for a pleasant Florentine evening, away from the hustle and bustle.

A place for Florentines in the center! I couldn't believe it was possible to find a place like this today without leaving Florence at least 10 km away.
I'd been consciously avoiding eating in the center of Florence for about 15 years. I came here for sentimental reasons: a photo of my grandparents taken at I' che c'è c'è in 1960. Intrigued, I looked it up and discovered it still exists. I read the reviews and realized I was on the right track. Today we tried it, and it confirmed it. Well done, well done! Traditional dishes made with great care and quality. As soon as I arrived, I tasted the bread and knew we were in the right place: real homemade Tuscan bread (Prato style) instead of the usual anonymous white restaurant bread.
We'll be back to try everything we missed today. In short: unbelievable value for money in this city I no longer recognize. Thanks for being here, you deserve good luck. See you soon.

We had a wonderful time at Icche c’e c’e.
Originally I brought my family of 7 here on a Reddit recommendation. We came around 8 pm and got pasta with clams, mixed salads, soups and the Florentine Steak with some wine. Everything was wonderfully cooked and the service was amazing and attentive.
It was sad to see that the restaurant did not have many customers for the quality of the food and atmosphere. Please come here and support. The pasta and steak were especially fresh and cooked to perfection.

We ate here twice for dinner during our five nights in Florence. Cacio e pepe was to die for! We also enjoyed the ravioli, lasagna, and veal cutlet. House wine was delicious too. Great service. I wish this restaurant was in my hometown!
