Highly recommended! We were there in the evening and received attentive and respectful service. It's relatively quiet in the evening and not crowded with chatter. The food was really good, prepared with care, and the portions were generous. The restrooms were clean and easily accessible. It was a lovely evening.

The best carbonara I've ever had, affordable for the quality. They welcomed us in a completely different way than other Italians.

After touring the Colosseum, I visited this restaurant to enjoy dinner before taking in the night view. I visited to try the pistachio lamb ribs, something I'd been curious about since Korea, and it turned out to be a very satisfying choice. The restaurant's overall warm lighting and calming atmosphere were impressive. Despite being located near a tourist attraction, the quiet atmosphere made it easy to focus on my meal. Above all, the servers were friendly and helpful, which naturally helped ease the fatigue from my trip. The steaks were particularly impressive on the menu. The meat's flavor was perfectly cooked, and the accompanying dishes were all solid. The aglio olio was also interesting. Rather than the savory, savory style I'm used to in Korea, it had a light, natural flavor that emphasized the natural flavors of the ingredients. It might seem bland at first, but it has a subtle charm that will have you reaching for more. If you're looking for a cozy dinner near the Colosseum, this is a highly recommended place. It's a perfect place for a leisurely meal before the night view. The seating fee is €2 per person.

Ate here last night on a Sunday evening, we got here early evening and was seated right away. Ordered a bottle of Sicilian wine. Wife had the lasagna and the carbonara for myself. Out of all the restaurants we have been at while here she has now placed this one holding the #1 spot strong I can not disagree either our friends ended up ordering another plate after there order to get what we had. Service was great when understanding the culture in Rome. We may even be returning to this restaurant come our last day before returning home.

Here's a great restaurant near the Colosseum. I recommend the menu I ordered. The steak was especially delicious. I've heard that pasta in Rome is often salty, but here, the food was surprisingly light, bringing out the natural flavors of the ingredients. The female staff member who took our order was especially friendly.

Centrally located, behind the Colosseum. Very popular, considering we had to wait a few minutes for a table. We ate outside, so I can't judge the restaurant from its interior. The dishes were very satisfying, especially the Roman-style artichoke, which was tender and delicious. Then, as per tradition, the carbonara and amatriciana were very good and in just the right amount. The fried calamari and shrimp were also good (given my sweet tooth, I would have preferred a slightly larger portion!). For dessert, the Pizzo truffle was definitely a treat! The price was reasonable given the location and the quality of the dishes. Given the crowds, for those who don't like waiting, it might be a good idea to book.
