I Villani D'Aragona In Otranto

Needed a quick stop for a sandwich and a salad, and found this place brought along the waterfront. Everything was fine. The food was good. The beer was cold. The only problem I know that they cannot control all the stinking flies.

Good food, but the owner from MY point of view is not very friendly, unlike the very courteous staff! I recommend going to eat at this restaurant if you are WITHOUT CHILDREN......

My family and I went to eat here at the end of August. We had an appetizer for two, the 3 of us ate, which was excellent and had already filled us up. Not to mention the delicious first courses with homemade pasta and fresh fish. The waiter who served us was also very courteous and friendly! Advised

Average restaurant for Otranto. Ordered very good swordfish carpaccio (consider a slightly spicy variant, perhaps with red onion), Orecchiette with tomato sauce average. NOTE OF MERIT for the fresh grilled BREAM (it would be respectful and honorable to weigh the fish in front of the customer so that he can realize the real price, it would be a point in your favor, few people do it) really excellent meat, perfectly cooked and portioned at the table. Mixed grilled fish here too very good but slightly limited in quantity. I didn't really like the very greasy fried foods, i.e. pittule and courgette flowers (a shame because the stuffing is really good) with a little care I'm sure it can be improved. I liked the local chardonnay white wine a lot. Nice setting on the sea side, I imagine when there are few people. Average service. It's not a place that warmed my heart, but I would go back especially for the grilled fish.

Ristorante che non consiglio, almeno con l'attuale gestione. Servizio non particolarmente attento. Saute di cozze un po' troppo sapido e con forte sapore di cipolla. Risotto ai frutti di mare poco saporito. Prezzi allineati ai ristoranti della zona. Nel complesso non soddisfacente, se paragonato agli altri locali della città.

Ristorante carino servizio cordiale e professionale, il cibo niente di eccezionale per il costo dei piatti. Abbiamo preso una portata a testa spendendo circa 35€ a testa con vino e acqua. Non servono pane! Cosa che non si può accettare a mio avviso e tra l’altro alla richiesta di dei grissini la risposta è stata non li mangia più nessuno. Grossomodo una buona esperienza anche se ci hanno cacciato per ordinare il secondo sostenendo di dover ordinare tutte le pietanze al primo ordine. Complimenti allo staff in ogni caso !
