I Sette Consoli In Orvieto

We had a fabulous meal at Consoli! We did the tasting menu of 6 courses and opted for the wine pairings--total of 90E/pp. (60 food/30 wine). We felt a great value compared to most other tasting menus that we have experienced. Seated in their garden on a picture perfect weather evening that was romantic and inviting at the same time. Courses were spaced perfectly with the correct portions. They were generous with their wine pours, total of 4 wines with the last being a dessert wine. Loved the amuse, bread and main of lamb chops! Two types of pasta prior to the main, cheese course and refreshing dessert to top off the perfect evening. If you would like a fine dining experience in Orvieto, I don't think you can do better than I Sette Consoli.

An authentic Italian fine dining restaurant in the heart of Orvieto. The restaurant is located in a garden between ancient buildings, with a partial view of the upper part of the Duomo, although it also has indoor seating. The decor is elegant yet simple. The food is spectacular! The best rack of lamb I've ever had, the pasta too, and the octopus is even better! Highly recommended!

A disappointment, out of 10 dishes consumed less than half were worthy of the Michelin mention, absolutely to be reviewed, especially the arrogance of the service (no bottled water, no beer, game treated badly, with absolutely tasteless dishes, raw pigeon because according to them it should be served like that, only seared ....). A little modesty would not hurt. Fortunately, the bill was not salty.

Exceptional meal. Beautiful “house,” garden even more so. Impeccable service: helpful, mindful of pacing and progression, attentive and gracious.. Creative, thoughtful menu making choices challenging. Quality products well prepared, beautifully plated. Extensive, deep and knowledgeable wine list well priced. Most highly recommended.

Overall it was a good dinner with good quality, quantity and price, it's just a shame that my snail rice was a bit raw and not very creamy. I wasn't crazy about the environment. One thing I really didn't like was the lack of bottled mineral water, I don't like filtered water and also it makes me a bit angry to have to pay for tap water

Locale elegante con un giusto rapporto qualità/prezzo. Il servizio è attento e discreto e la qualità e la presentazione delle portate sono indiscutibili. Non do il massimo dei voti per due motivi, il primo perché il secondo cestino del pane era leggermente differente dal primo e perché il dolce ordinato (Millefoglie alla crema Diplomatica, albicocche all’Armagnac e mandorle tostate) era molto buono ma al palato (almeno al nostro) le albicocche erano impercettibili. A prescindere da queste due sfumature è sicuramente un ristorante nel quale vale la pena mangiare se ci si trova ad Orvieto e si vuole mangiare bene.

Ristorante raffinato, servizio e cucina molto professionali. Il menù non è molto vario, ma molto interessante quello degustazione che alla carta. Inserito nel centro storico di Orvieto e raggiungibile a piedi abbastanza velocemente dai parcheggi a pagamento.
