I Sapori Degli Iblei In Modica

I already knew the restaurant from having been there several times for work, so I decided to return during a weekend in Modica and Ragusa. I had a fantastic idea: I found the legendary Fabrizio, whom I hadn't seen in about seven years. Then I sat down and ordered a very small local appetizer, by choice. Then we ordered a portion of Lolli cche favi (typical pasta with fava beans), which turned out to be a portion for three, a challenge for two to finish. Then I ordered the pork with tomato sauce, a second course featuring rabbit and vegetables. Everything was delicious, the sauce very tasty and cooked to perfection. I hadn't eaten such a tender, succulent, and flavorful piece of rabbit in many years. Congratulations to all the staff, see you soon.

Authentic Sicilian restaurant. Everything is delicious and well-presented, including the wines by the glass. A truly local atmosphere guaranteed.

A good selection of food in a characteristic setting in the center of Modica. The service is good, despite the massive tourism in the area, even during off-peak periods.

A place that retains the look (and taste) of an old-fashioned osteria. A deserved winner of a series of four restaurants, it's not a trendy place; it doesn't waste any time talking about the food it prepares. Delicious food, made the old-fashioned way, with generous portions and bold yet refined flavors. Service was quick but not rushed. We ate cavatelli with sauce, ravioli with sauce, and pork with sauce (a portion for two), all delicious. If you find yourself in Modica, go try it. We were on vacation and are already homesick. We hope to return.

We had such a good dinner that we returned the next day for lunch. Friendly staff, excellent food in a casual atmosphere, definitely worth a try.

A very nice place with a lovely atmosphere. The portions are even too large to even finish the main course. The tripe could have been cooked a little longer. The house wine is decent.
