We ate DIVINELY! Pasta with clams was really excellent, not to mention the mixed fried fish and the seafood appetizer. A small restaurant where the fish is excellent and fresh. I highly recommend it! Friendliness also from the staff, from the accompaniment to the table to the payment. A wonderful little gem in Gatteo if you want a well-made fish lunch or dinner.

Everything is good, even the prices are good

Absolutely underpriced. You will get a firework of taste for a small price. Service is on point and the ambiente is matching. We usally try a lot of different restaurants during our holiday but on this one we had to come back twice because of the quality and the experience. You want to eat outstanding good for a really good price….this restaurant is for you. Dont forget to make a reservation because i dont think it will ever be empty in the evening. In this restaurant you eat well but the service is a nightmare. Biblical times all running and no one has a plate in hand. To the question the answer is always the same: the staff is not found. Mahhhhh

We went to this restaurant on a Saturday night, with friends. We met a waiter who was not very kind and professional. He treated us badly from the beginning, then tried to make up for it at the end with fake sympathy. We were about to get up and leave. It's a shame because the food is very delicious and well cooked.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We passed by the La Romantica restaurant last night, but it was all full (already a good sign!). We decided to try again today for lunch and we were greeted with great kindness by a waiter who, with availability and professionalism, immediately involved the owner Fabio, who runs the restaurant together with his brother, to set up a table for eight plus a high chair for my son. In a few minutes they had us sit on the veranda, a pleasant and well-kept environment, carefully joining the tables. The restaurant is very clean, with a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. A special mention goes to Fabio, who immediately set about preparing a plate of strozzapreti with ragù for my son. After about 7-8 minutes - so just the time it takes to cook the pasta - the dish arrived at the table, which we greatly appreciated: those who have children know how limited their patience at the table is! Furthermore, it was set with plastic tableware, a small but significant precaution that avoided the usual potential disasters. The menu is surprisingly varied, with both meat and fish options, all original and cared for in detail — nothing like the usual “copy and paste” dishes from a Riviera restaurant. As an appetizer, I ordered sardines in saor, truly special and tasty: marinated with vinegar, raisins, pine nuts, onion and served with an unusual savory herb plumcake — I recognized rosemary, fennel, garlic, salt and pepper. A creative, well-balanced and high-quality dish. Next, I had a strozzaprete al cartoccio, exceptional: as soon as I opened the parcel, a delicious aroma was released, and the sauce was creamy and delicate, a real pleasure for the palate. My friends were also very satisfied: very fresh local mussels, delicious tuna tartare and all dishes served with care. We dined with a very fresh sparkling house wine, light but full of character, which has nothing to envy to many bottled wines. To complete it all, Lurisia water, coming from the Alpine springs on the slopes of Monte Pigna, in Roccaforte Mondovì (CN): pure, balanced and very pleasant to drink. The bathroom is also kept truly perfect in every way, with the presence of a comfortable changing table for children, a detail not to be taken for granted that we appreciated very much. I then met Fabio, the owner, at the end of lunch and he told me that together with his brother they manage the restaurant and that in the morning it is his brother who goes to the port to get the freshest fish, a guarantee of quality that can be felt in every dish. Finally, we concluded with a good coffee and some excellent bitters offered by the house, including an excellent limoncello and a truly intense and pleasant licorice liqueur. More than positive experience. We will definitely be back!

Small clarifications. I have eaten tuna tartare in 41 years but making it with a centimeter of avocado and another centimeter of tuna to make it as big as the others but with half the raw material did not drive me crazy as a solution. Same thing for the mixed fried calamari and shrimp, with a little stuff and the other half fried vegetables. Good food for sure but these "solutions" did not drive me crazy.

Restaurant discovered almost by chance. It caught our attention just by passing in front of it, seeing the various diners sitting down to dinner. The immediate impression was of a restaurant where you could definitely eat well. So we decided to try it and it was an excellent choice. The first evening we had a cold fish appetizer and a seafood risotto. All excellent. Accompanying it with a still white wine from the area. To finish with the house dessert. This was also an excellent choice. Given the quality, we returned to try the fried food, and this time too the choice was right, fried fish and fried shrimp and squid, always with the excellent local wine. Qualified and friendly staff. Regular waiting times, also because the product used is fresh and needs its time to prepare. We will definitely return. Only 5 stars because more cannot be given. Cozy atmosphere and amazing food! The best place to eat fish in the area. Last but not least, the staff is super friendly and fast. We will definitely be back
