I Girasoli In Roma

07/07/2026: We arrived in Rome in the evening very hungry. We settled in the hotel near the Termini train station and went out to look for food... We noticed this restaurant on the way and after a short detour we returned to it... It was chosen because it had things that looked local... and indeed there were no tourists. The waiters spoke good English and today were very welcoming. We tasted pasta with meat sauce - a large and satisfying dish that was comforting with a familiar and delicious taste. We also ordered 'tortellini regina'. And a plate full of perfect little tortellini wrapped in a delicate mushroom cream sauce with a little parsley (I have no idea what the filling was exactly but it was great). We also ordered fried vegetables - in fact we got what looked like fried green garlic - a delicious pile of greens. For dessert we ordered pistachio gelato - which had a wave of coffee chocolate in it... We paid 50 euros for the pleasure including service, and bread, beer and coke. It was exactly the meal we needed at the end of a long day of travel

26/06/2026: Sir, if you are looking for a place that can make you feel at home, you are in the right place, you will be welcomed like one of the family and they will pamper you from start to finish, dishes made to perfection, very kind service, always ready to satisfy you, I know for sure that if I return to Rome, a stop here must be made.
