A memorable dinner, in a restaurant that knows how to combine tradition and taste with extraordinary simplicity. I Dù de la Contrada is the kind of place where every dish speaks with sincerity and substance. We opened with a poached egg, delicate and creamy, executed with technical precision and served with refined taste. The carrot meatballs with paprika, surprising for their balance and lightness, tell of a vegetable cuisine that doesn't need to shout to be remembered. The absolute protagonist of the evening was the beef in oil with polenta: a Brescia classic performed with skill. The very tender meat, the rich and velvety base, and the just the right rough polenta: a dish that warms, satisfies, conquers. Grand finale with the rose cake and Chantilly cream: soft, fragrant, delicious without excess. A perfect closure. To make everything even more pleasant, impeccable service, with kind, friendly and attentive staff, capable of putting you at ease from the first moment. Full five stars, and all deserved. A real cuisine, a sincere welcome: to be recommended without hesitation.

We loved this place. We hadn't booked, but the guys were kind enough to call us as soon as a table became available, not even 10 minutes after we came by. Fantastic food, very nice waiters and very nice place. Correct price, we will definitely return if we are again in the area.

Spectacular, we ate very well and the guys at the service were friendly and professional. The room is welcoming and we all had fun drawing with crayons. The wine list was also excellent and was presented to us with care and awareness. I hope to return soon

Veg ✅ 🌱 The food is as good as in many other places of the same type and the environment is very friendly. The only problem is the biblical wait to be able to find a free place to book a blessed table. “Call AT LEAST a week in advance!” They answer the phone... but I say, will I be able to have the right and pleasure of leaving the house and deciding whether to eat out or not, without having to worry about booking a month in advance? The problem is that in Brescia they seem like a lot of locusts who literally attack some places and even think they are cool. 😂

The casoncelli are textbook: homemade pasta, rich and tasty filling, seasoned with melted butter and sage in perfect balance. But the real magic lies in the atmosphere: the waiters, always smiling and engaging. They serve you cheerfully and, if it happens, they even start drawing on the placemats with you, creating a convivial and unique atmosphere. It's impossible not to feel at home. Finally, the wine list is simply spatial: extensive, well-curated, with surprising local proposals and pairings recommended with expertise and passion. A perfect mix of taste, creativity and human warmth. To return, and return again.

Di passaggio a Brescia troviamo questo bel locale, curato e particolare nell’arredo, gestito da simpatici ragazzi molto alla mano e curiosi verso noi “forestieri “. Cena per 8 persone, di cui 3 ragazzi adolescenti spesa media di circa 33 euro incluso due buone bottiglie di Marzemino consigliate dal nostro cameriere. Tutto molto buono, ma ottimi i casoncelli, la lingua con maionese di zenzero e il fuori menù dell’agnello a scottadito. Chiuso alla grande con della torta di rose e un amaro locale offerto dai simpatici gestori. Complimenti, da tornarci per provare anche il resto!

Sehr nettes locker sympathisch geführtes Lokal in der Brescianer Innenstadt. Ich war an einem Dienstag hier und es war voll. Bitte reservieren. Klassiker der lombardischen Küche. Freundlicher Service. Gute Weinauswahl auch glasweise.
