I loved this place, which I hadn't heard of, in the heart of the historic Carmine district. A last-minute reservation for two people for dinner on a hot August Monday. Three of us showed up, and the staff (who proved to be knowledgeable and helpful) immediately set to work, making us feel at ease in no time! The dinner featured dishes that I found excellent: traditional dishes, but you can also find something different and more sophisticated. The wine was absolutely appreciated. In my opinion, they were also excellent for the prices, which I often find disproportionate in other downtown locations (personal opinion).

I love this place, and I say this as a non-Brescia native! I take all my friends and family who come to visit me from down there. It's the first place I ate and enjoyed polenta... because the guys offered it to me, even though I was reluctant to eat it. And every time I come back, I don't leave without ordering polenta with shank ragù and gorgonzola! The menu always offers something "different" to try, while still maintaining traditional local cuisine. Everyone says it's difficult to book, but in truth, I've always been quite lucky to book even a week in advance. And by booking, I've never had to wait!
The guys are really nice.

I like to share my local experience. I searched on Google among many and chose Du dela contrada. I noticed their online reputation. We had dinner and it strengthened their reputation. True professionals in the sector, you can immediately see kindness and attention to the customer. Mrs. Paola served us, advising us and describing the detailed menu in all its parts. This is an added value. WELL DONE. Obviously the chef is no less important, the dishes are a real oblivion for the palate. I'm sorry that I'm from Rome and I'm far away. But as soon as I happen to be in Brescia I will definitely come. WELL DONE, congratulations, keep it up. Best regards, Massimo P.

Tuvimos la suerte de conseguir una reserva de última hora ya que este restaurante es popular. Fue una noche encantadora con un menú interesante (vegetarianos atendidos) , personal acogedor y un ambiente mojado. Buena relación calidad-precio también. Recomiendo.

Di passaggio a Brescia troviamo questo bel locale, curato e particolare nell’arredo, gestito da simpatici ragazzi molto alla mano e curiosi verso noi “forestieri “.
Cena per 8 persone, di cui 3 ragazzi adolescenti spesa media di circa 33 euro incluso due buone bottiglie di Marzemino consigliate dal nostro cameriere.
Tutto molto buono, ma ottimi i casoncelli, la lingua con maionese di zenzero e il fuori menù dell’agnello a scottadito.
Chiuso alla grande con della torta di rose e un amaro locale offerto dai simpatici gestori.
