Ambiente raccolto e affascinante con numerosi ed eleganti richiami al Castello. Servizio professionale, attento ai minimi particolari, serio ma cordiale. Antipasto di mare stuzzicante, fresco e vivo grazie anche ad una cipollina bianca amorevolmente gestita. Spaghetto Martelli alle vongole fatto con grande sapienza e servito bollente appena saltato. Coniglio fritto speciale. Un’impanatura croccante, la qualità della carne e la salvietta confezionata che ti dice: “mangiami con le mani”, hanno contribuito ad un’alta esperienza culinaria.

Yours is one of those places where we will return periodically for the high quality of the food, for the welcome and for the very charming place. Platter of cured meats, macaroni with octopus ragù and truly delicious tiramisu, for one evening they didn't make us think about the fact that in our new home we are waiting for the delivery of the table, chairs and fridge.... Congratulations guys, yours is a place that makes the village of Lari and the whole surrounding area even more beautiful. Places where we chose to live

During our visit to the village of Lari and the famous Martelli pasta factory, we decided to have lunch at the I Burattinai restaurant, attracted by their choice to use Martelli pasta. We opted for spaghetti carbonara and sausage, which turned out to be a dish full of flavor and a risotto with porcini mushrooms, creamy and well seasoned. We couldn't resist the temptation to try the prawns wrapped in lard, a real delight for the palate! To end on a high note, we let ourselves be seduced by the Tuscan cantuccini accompanied by vin santo, at the suggestion of the staff. The culinary experience offered by I Burattinai was so satisfying that we already plan to return. A place definitely recommended for those looking for traditional dishes prepared with skill and quality ingredients.

Good quality at a reasonable price

Ero qui con dei familiari per il pranzo di Natale. Giornata invernale ma con un sole gradevole a baciare il vicino castello di Lari. Il locale si trova in una ottimo posizione; al suo interno non è molto spazioso ma molto curato nei dettagli e nella pulizia. Il personale è giovane ed educato, non appena entrati ti mettono subito a proprio agio. Abbiamo mangiato dei piatti gustosi elaborati con ingredienti tipici toscani tra cui da evidenziare i cannelloni con zucca e funghi porcini con fonduta di gorgonzola, le pappardelle al cinghiale e lo stinco di maiale al forno con glassa di melograno e purè di patate viola. Dato il giorno di Natale la sala era piena ma il servizio è stato ugualmente celere ed ineccepibile. Prezzo assolutamente in linea con la qualità del menù presentato. Torneremo sicuramente.
