Hotel Shackleton Mountain Resort In Sestriere

We stayed in this hotel for 5 days and it was a great experience. The hotel is very comfortable, the restaurant has a beautiful view and we had the experience of dining with the fireplace next to the snow. The staff and management are very friendly and courteous. There are some things that could be improved. The reception was closed at night, there was no contact to call in case of need (which we had because the child was ill one night and we didn't know who to turn to); the cleanliness of the room deserved more careful attention. The swimming pool was out of use although it was not reported at the time of booking (for us it was an important element because we needed it to entertain the child). The people who had to be qualified to spend time with the children should have done only that and not deal with other aspects within the hotel. Overall a nice holiday

Quando uomini e montagne si incontrano, grandi cose accadono... e così, tra le alte vette di Sestriere, il Resort Shackleton, resta un gioiello di estrema bellezza. Siamo clienti che da anni tornano ad assaporare l'ottima cucina, l'accoglienza ottimamente gestita, gli ambienti accoglienti. Tutti gli anni ci facciamo un regalo che fa stare bene... per questo, consigliatissimo.
