It was recommended to us by the guide of the Historic House in Dossena and, without booking, we decided to try the restaurant.
Even though it was only 12, we were welcomed like family, immediately feeling at ease. The owner welcomed us, together with her family, and chatting about this and that, in a simple and almost familiar environment, we spent and enjoyed an excellent lunch! Honest price, DELICIOUS homemade casoncelli, even the excellent rabbit. Grappa kindly offered, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT.

Ci è stato consigliato dalla guida della Dimora Storica a Dossena e, senza prenotare, abbiamo deciso di provando il ristorante. Nonostante fossero appena le 12, siamo stati accolti come famigliari, sentendoci subito a nostro agio. Ci ha accolto la proprietaria, insieme alla famiglia e chiacchierando del più e del meno, in un ambiente semplice e quasi casalingo, abbiamo passato e gustato un ottimo pranzo! Prezzo onesto, casoncelli fatti in casa BUONISSIMI e anche il coniglio ottimo. Vino della casa idem. Grappa gentilmente offerta. CONSIGLIATO e grazie ancora!

I have known the place for more than 30 years, kindness, friendly, down-to-earth family...simple and good lunches from their home-made cuisine. Every time you go up to the valley, you stop at their place. I can't miss special people.

Good evening, I was waiting for your review because after 30 years of career we know people like you immediately. First of all, as I kindly explained to her, the menu of the day 25 euros for fish soup included the encore, but not the trios or anything else added by her.
I remind you well that in the bill I made you pay for the two menus of 25 euros and in addition only 20 euros so not even 1 additional menu, even though you had even taken the trios, if you are used to eating in this way when you come to the cash register maybe isn't your place.
however we are still waiting for you to taste our specialties

Buonasera ,ero in aspettativa della sua recensione ,innanzitutto come le ho gentilmente spiegato alla cassa la cameriera ha fatto il suo servizio correttamente portando quello che avevate ordinato .
Se volevate cambiare l'ordine potevate segnarlo subito e avremmo provveduto a cambiare il tipo di carne se non era di vostro gradimento o avevate sbagliato ad ordinare.Le ho spiegato che c'e una bella differenza fra brasato e vitello!!! ,nel caso le consiglio di tornare a trovarci nuovamente . Cordialmente .

Permetto che siamo stati al ristorante in un giorno feriale di fine agosto.
Il salone non era pieno, ma c'erano comunque una trentina di persone (la sala è veramente grande...) e la signora aveva il suo bel da fare a gestire tutto da sola.
Compatibilmente con questo il servizio è stato buono, così come le portate e con tempi accettabili.
Abbiamo aspettato molto di più in altri posti dove c'erano più camerieri e meno gente.
Buona la qualità. Ho apprezzato il tiramisù.
Il prezzo (menù a la carte) potrebbe essere più competitivo.
Quattro stelle (potendo ne avrei date anche 4 e mezzo) sono anche un riconoscimento per un'attività cinquantennale. Complimenti e grazie !

Ho mangiato qui a pranzo, locale molto carino, con vista bellissima tagliere di affettati e formaggi di ottima qualità e primi piatti molto buoni, personale molto gentile
