Found through Wonderbox, great experience. Friendly and helpful staff, excellent food, clean room, and comfortable bed (a bit short, to be honest). Excellent base for exploring Garfagnana.

I may be repetitive, but for me, this place is magical. Always a surefire choice whenever I need accommodations close to Lucca and the Garfagnana region. Spacious and clean rooms, a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and top-notch service and staff. We also ate at the restaurant downstairs in the evening, and were treated wonderfully with all the local specialties. The Hotel Milano is a GUARANTEE; staying and dining with Martina and Marco is a sure bet. I always come back and can't wait to return.

Lovely room, impeccable room service, and a truly delicious dinner. Kudos to the chef for the chestnut flour gnocchi, a wonderful surprise! I'll definitely be back.

Excellent venue, the rooms are spacious and very clean with impeccable service. The staff is courteous and efficient. We were there for New Year's Eve and also enjoyed the New Year's Eve dinner: both the food and the service were excellent. I had also eaten there on another occasion, à la carte, and I had a great time. I was truly satisfied. I highly recommend this venue.

Well-run hotel, friendly and helpful. We spent New Year's Eve with other couples of friends. I am reluctant to write an unsatisfactory review, only 3 stars, because on the afternoon of the 31st, when we arrived in the room, it was 13 degrees Celsius, even though we had booked two weeks in advance and were therefore aware of our arrival. I think and believe it is unacceptable to provide a room with 13 degrees Celsius on December 31st, especially when several staff members informed us of the discomfort of the premium room, blaming the exposure of the external walls. The minibar was included in the service, but not in the room, and the bathroom drain did not work. However, we appreciated the willingness to remedy the situation by changing the room, which we did not accept simply because the room available was very small and smelled of sewage and musty air. That said, I believe it is essential to offer excellent service, since the final price did not undergo any change, despite the booking having been made two weeks in advance. The final sore point was the dinner menu on the 31st, which unfortunately was disappointing.

Unique, impeccably maintained, and comfortable. The room with the fireplace is tidy, welcoming, and relaxing. The bar is stocked with excellent spirits and wines. The food is certainly good; they offered us an aperitif with homemade fried pasta and excellent pecorino cheese. If we return, we'll stay for dinner. The owner is intelligent, capable, and very friendly. The breakfast was absolutely satisfying.

I stayed one night at this hotel. The room was cozy, with a spacious bathroom. The dinner was excellent, considering the quality/price ratio (I highly recommend the peposo!)

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for work. We were immediately greeted with great professionalism, but also with warmth and kindness. The rooms are spacious, very clean, and the bathroom is very spacious. We also enjoyed the cuisine for both lunch and dinner. Mr. Marco was very helpful and recommended local specialties. All the dishes were exquisite, well-prepared, and made with top-quality ingredients. The service was very professional, and all the staff were highly trained, extremely kind, and helpful. Our stay, even if not for vacation, turned into an unexpected moment of relaxation. The hotel is very quiet and perfect for rest. Another important point is that the hotel is equipped with all eco-sustainable systems. I must say that the experience was beyond excellent, and we will definitely return. Highly recommended!!

Let's start with the room. It was beautiful and spacious, more than suitable for two people. The bathroom was excellent, with a nice, spacious shower, just the way I like it. Naturally, it was equipped with all the comforts, including a mini-fridge, Wi-Fi, and a small but functional desk. Breakfast: The staff immediately asked if you'd like a cappuccino, etc., and prepared it for you on the spot, helping you use the toaster or anything else. They were very kind. Location: Our goal was to go to the center of Lucca for the comic book fair, and we really appreciated being able to get there using the train station, about 2 km away. We parked near the station and in just over 20 minutes we arrived at our destination, right in front of the Lucca City Walls. In the evening, we took advantage of the restaurant: you can choose from a set menu with two or three dishes, or order à la carte. Both nights, we ate the truly delicious Zuppa Frantoiana, and we complimented the chef. Another important thing: all the staff were incredibly kind, including the owner. Let's just say his kindness somehow spread throughout his staff, and mind you, not a cold, apathetic kindness, but a sincere one. We couldn't have been welcomed any better. We'll be back at the next fair!

I'm writing this in a huff because I thought you'd already written a review. All my guests stayed at my husband's birthday party a year ago at this hotel and restaurant. What can I say? The hotel is surrounded by beautiful greenery, with the river flowing in front. The rooms were perfect. Meticulously cleaned. The food couldn't be better. And the service? Excellent. The owner and his daughter are incredibly kind. I can only say thank you because every time we dine with you, it feels like we're dining at home. Thank you so much. 🙏
