Cleanliness a little lacking and rooms in need of renovation. Place with good potential but not exploited. Breakfast is sufficient.

Our recent stay at Hotel Il Brunello in Montalcino, though brief (just one night), was a truly memorable experience and far exceeded our expectations. We stayed yesterday with my boyfriend, and the overall impression was excellent. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by extremely kind, helpful, and attentive staff—a true added value that made our stay even more enjoyable. The room we were assigned stunned us: not only was it spotless and welcoming, but also incredibly spacious, far exceeding our expectations for comfort. The hotel is nestled in an enchanting natural setting, surrounded by greenery, and just listening to the birds chirping helped create an atmosphere of profound relaxation. The presence of the swimming pool was a welcome surprise, and we appreciated the convenience of the towels provided for a refreshing dip. Breakfast deserves a special mention: a veritable triumph of flavors, with a rich selection of handmade pastries, fragrant croissants, yogurt, fruit juices, and endless coffee and cappuccinos, all complemented by an equally thoughtful selection of savory options. And let's not forget the convenient free parking! The slight distance from the center of Montalcino (just a 5-minute drive) is absolutely manageable and, in our opinion, contributes to the peace and serenity of the place.

Nice hotel. The rooms are nice. However, the hotel smells of stale tobacco. Also, breakfast doesn't start on time. Nothing is ready at 7:30 a.m.

Convenient and economical for those travelling for work

I was there for lunch with colleagues. Exceptional food, impeccable service, highly recommended place, very courteous staff, . Really compliments to the owner and cook Francesca, and to the fantastic Nicole, who looked after us throughout the lunch. We will definitely be back soon. Thank you all so much!
