The place is a bit dated, but the food is excellent. Simple, traditional local dishes with homemade pasta and excellent ingredients. Friendly and helpful staff. Worth a try. UPDATE We stopped by again today and the place has been renovated. Much more welcoming.

I read some reviews, trusted them, and I was right ❤️. The first courses were excellent: the tagliatelle and strozzapreti fresh daily. The house wine and desserts were decent. Fast service and helpful staff. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming.

Excellent business lunch!! We had a lovely meal: tagliatelle with ragù and rabbit. The side dishes of potatoes and grilled vegetables were also good. The tiramisu was superb. Reasonably priced.

A place where you can enjoy authentic, traditional Romagna cuisine. The atmosphere is definitely informal, unpretentious, an essential feature for those seeking authentic trattorias. The prices are truly fair for the quality of the food. Due to the high attendance, be aware that if you don't have a reservation, you'll have to sign in at the door and wait about twenty minutes before being seated. Overall, excellent.

Fantastic osteria with generous, tasty yet not heavy dishes. Homemade pasta is the main course, and it's hard to choose the best. Helpful staff. Very generous hours (we were able to eat even though we arrived around 2:15 PM).

Locanda Appennino

25/04/2026: We ate and stayed at this wonderful inn. The food was excellent, from appetizers to meat. The rooms were splendid and spotlessly clean. The price was a little high, but for the quality offered, I'd say it was more than justified.
10/04/2026: Passing through Forlì, we easily reached the Locanda in about twenty minutes. Room 3 is elegant and comfortable, albeit small. The bathroom is well-designed (except for the shower, but it's usable with a little care and patience). The staff is kind and welcoming; the breakfast is excellent. We'll be back.

21/04/2026: As always... excellent food, friendliness and professionalism... Location, especially in the nice weather, excellent.
21/04/2026: Beautiful location surrounded by nature, I had the pleasure of delighting in this place, exquisite dishes, very kind staff. Well done, see you soon, being from Cagliari I can't come here very often but I will, nothing to envy the typical Sardinian cuisine as regards pasta and meat.
