Hosteria del Mercato In Roma

On a hot weekday evening, we found Hosteria del Mercato by chance (and we’re so glad we did!). The place had a calm, friendly vibe that pulled us in right away. It’s a beautiful restaurant, quietly tucked near the Spanish Steps, even though it’s just a short walk from the busy, high-end shopping street, Via Condotti. The service was excellent. The staff were kind and quick to help with anything we needed. They really made us feel welcome and well cared for. The food was amazing. We had two delicious bruschette: one with tomatoes, anchovies, and pecorino cheese, and another with stracciatella cheese, courgette flower, and anchovies. Then we had saltimbocca alla romana with creamy mashed potatoes. Every dish was full of flavor and the ingriends were high quality. Hosteria del Mercato is a real hidden gem, especially in such a busy part of Rome. If you love good food and a relaxed atmosphere, this place is a must. I highly recommend it and can’t wait to go back.

I personally really liked this place. It is located practically in the historic center of Rome, a stone's throw from Via Condotti, Via del Corso and Piazza di Spagna. It is possible to eat inside where the style is very refined and well taken care of down to the smallest details and it is also possible to eat outdoors. the quality of the food is really good as is the service which is also quite fast. I also recommend it for an outing as a couple or as a family or among a small group perhaps of friends

Located on a narrow, picturesque street, the food was very tasty as was the coffee with polite and helpful staff.

The atmosphere was very pleasant and peaceful. I found exactly the sandwich I was looking for here. It was very tasty and filling. The staff was professional. They also helped me with my efforts to speak Italian. You should definitely choose it.

Tre pallini per il discreto mangiare. Ristorante molto carino con tavoli alla giusta distanza per pranzi o cene d'affari o romantiche. Lavandino in pietra accattivante con sottostante trappola per topi: anche no. Personale che mastica italiano ma lo capisce poco: gli stuzzicadenti sono arrivati dopo tre richieste in tre lingue. Cibo discreto ma dal sapore genuino. Buona la verdura. Molto buona la tartare. Molto caro. Non paghi il biglietto. Chi vuole, provi e mi dica.
