What can I say, we found ourselves in Cogne almost by chance and almost by chance we entered this restaurant. You can't imagine the service and courtesy being at the top and the food could only be super. Little red circle in my diary of restaurants to return to.

Essendo a Cogne dopo pranzo, Montagne di carta chiudi domenica pomeriggio, e passandoci davanti mi sono fermata all'esterno per non disturbare chi pranzava avendo il cane. Il clima era ottimo con un bel sole. Cameriera Santo domenicana super gentilissima. Ho voluto assaggiare la crema di Cogne che degusto ovunque. Buona e ben servita con un muffin...ma troppo liquida. Proverò prossimamente il ristorante. Cogne è sempre bellissima!

Both the food and the wine were decent. Service needs to be increased, with more staff and more attentive staff. As soon as I sat down I found a hair on my plate and more on the tablecloth. When I reported it, the waitress was almost annoyed...

In the week we stayed in Cogne it was without a doubt the best place we ate. It offers the possibility of dividing the portions in two, which are served directly on two plates. The portions are generous and correspond correctly to the price. The staff is very kind, the place is very well furnished. I recommend booking in high season, as with all restaurants in Cogne. I will recommend it to all my friends

Se siete a Cogne consiglio una sosta in questo locale. Ambiente rustico ma ben curato, servizio rapido e cortese, cibo ottimo. Ci siamo andati una sera e abbiamo deciso di tornarci anche quella successiva. Non capisco perché solo 4 punti su 5 in TripAdvisor. Per me li merita tutti e 5

02/05/2025: Visited La Maison de Filippo in Entreves, Courmayeur, and it was a charming experience! This historic restaurant, open since 1965, has a cozy, rustic vibe with vintage decor that feels like stepping back in time. I tried the traditional Valdostan ravioli and polenta—tasty and authentic, though portions were smaller than expected. The staff was friendly but service slowed down when it got busy. Prices are on the higher side, but the Mont Blanc ice cream dessert was a highlight! Perfect for soaking up Aosta Valley’s atmosphere. Recommend for a unique dining experience!
23/03/2025: If you are in these parts, do not miss it. Menu full of truly refined dishes, typical local products and of great quality. Waiters super polite and very professional when it comes to explaining dishes and wines on the list. The environment is truly characteristic and full of objects that recall old local traditions. For parking you can easily use their multi-storey garage, located 50 meters ahead of the entrance. Prices in line with the place and quality offered. Absolutely recommended.
