The extremely kind hosts are from Sri Lanka, but this should not be an obstacle to trusting them completely - they are masters of the local cuisine and their recommendations simply must be followed. Excellent food, just a little flaw... But otherwise everything is ok

We were here twice during our stay. We were impressed by the ambience of the food and the incredibly attentive and very friendly service. We can only recommend eating here. Thank you for the friendly welcome.

There were 4 of us and we were all more than satisfied with everything. We will definitely be back!

Excellent tasting tortellini, a little expensive given the small quantity...

Il locale, che si trova a pochi metri dalla piazza centrale di Valeggio, è piccolo ma accogliente ed anche i tavoli non sono spaziosi ma sufficienti. Simpatica anche la cameriera. Tutto bene quindi ma ció che appare subito carente sono le porzioni davvero troppo limitate nelle quantità: 4 cappellacci per 18 euro sono un po’ cari anche se buoni. Molto meno buoni invece gli agnolotti con ripieno d’anatra (20 euro) e conditi da una salsa ai frutti rossi e cioccolato fondente, Il cioccolato, infatti, mal si sposa con l’insieme. Comunque un ristorante discreto che dovrebbe però non lesinare tanto sulle quantità. Molto apprezzabile il pane caldo e saporito che ci è stato servito. Un pasto medio di primo e secondo con un bicchiere di vino costa circa 50 euro a persona. Credo che, evitando di eccedere negli ingredienti delle salse e, soprattutto, maggiore generositá nelle porzioni, il locale possa diventare una meta davvero molto interessante.

Excellent dishes, all made by the owner chef. Very high level at fair prices. In the room the professional and welcoming wife. Both owners are very sweet. Found this place by chance, it was a great surprise. I will be back at every Vinitaly!

Two steps further... turning the corner on the right of the Valeggio sul Mincio square... You enter a little treasure of a place, where you are welcomed by the smile of the chef's wife. We enjoyed tasty dishes, rigorously homemade puff pastry first courses with exquisite fillings thanks to the five-star mastery of the chef. Hospitality, sharing, kindness and good food give you well-being and relaxation.

Unique experience, carefully prepared dishes, special service. I recommend trying it because it's worth it.

Pranzo del 03/11/2024 Locale sofisticato, con richiami agli anni ‘70 e non solo, accogliente e raccolto, posizionato nel centro del paese. Menu limitato (cosa che considero sempre un bene, poche cose ma fatte come si deve) con piatti ben realizzati, almeno limitatamente alle nostre ordinazioni: tagliolini al tartufo estivo, dalla bella consistenza e ben conditi, guancia brasata all’Amarone, ineccepibile per sapore e cottura, maialino croccante molto apprezzato. Tavoli, giocoforza, non molto distanziati tra loro, senza che questo influisca (almeno nel giorno delle nostra visita ) sul comfort acustico, molto buono. Porzioni non molto abbondanti a fronte di un esborso, pur considerando la qualità della cucina e l’ambiente, al di sopra dell’atteso. Carta dei vini di buon livello. Servizio rapido e cortese.
