Well, what can I say...once you go, you won't be able to get enough. Yesterday was our second time; we'd been there three years ago. Let's start with the kindness of the owner and waiter, two delightful people, kind, helpful, and smiling. The atmosphere is incredible, somewhere between rustic and elegant, a combination that makes this restaurant a true gem, with truly meticulous attention to detail. The food is ionospheric, I've only eaten like this at home; I've never seen a restaurant with such authentic and genuine flavors. The Genovese was top-notch, as were the house antipasto and tiramisu. A truly exquisite menu, and above all, meticulous attention to flavor and presentation, because, as we all know, appearance counts. Truly a rare gem. I'll always return whenever possible.

Spent our last night in Italy at this restaurant. What an incredible choice!! From the warm welcome, to the unbelievably delicious food, to the owner asking about our dining experience and informing us about Napoli history and tradition, everything was 10/10. If you are in the area, don't hesitate to stop here!! I cannot wait to return next time we are in the area. Special mention goes to the Ziti Genovese, the Salted Caramel Panne Cotta and the Fillet.

Truly amazing osteria. Very friendly, pleasant, and fast service. The place is well-maintained, with a Neapolitan theme. Luckily for us, it wasn't too crowded on a Saturday night, so we found a parking spot and a free table. We ordered two main courses: sausage and potatoes, very tasty. And a fillet with broccoli rabe, well-done, tender, and juicy. And the broccoli rabe was delicious. The bill was fair.

Beautiful restaurant, lovely ambient, amazing service, gorgeous food and wine. We visited with young children and the staff were very accommodating and prepared kids friendly dishes based on our kids preferences. The food was delicious and the service was 5 star. We had a great experience and highly recommend it.

Promise kept. We have verified that yes, the dishes respect tradition. Very good and well prepared dishes. Excellent service. We will return for the traditional pasta and potatoes.

From the moment I walked into Hosteria La Tradizione, I felt warmly welcomed—with a glass of Prosecco and a perfectly crisp pacchero fritto as an aperitivo. A great start that only hinted at what was to come. Gennaro, the host, is a true gem—extremely knowledgeable about wines from every corner of the world and passionate about pairing them thoughtfully with each dish. I started with an exceptional beef tartare, followed by a beautifully cooked steak served on pietra lavica (lava stone), which added both flavor and flair to the experience. The evening ended on a high note with a unique and memorable dessert: blue cheese infused with dark chocolate, paired masterfully with a Falanghina passito. An unexpected and delightful combination. Special thanks to Chef Giovanni and Giusy for their creativity and attention to detail. Every element of the meal had a personal touch that made it feel special. Highly recommended if you're in the Napoli area—this is a place that celebrates tradition, innovation, and hospitality all in one.

Excellent discovery. We tried various restaurants in the area but we missed this one but it was a perfect all-round experience. Waiter and room manager (or perhaps owner) very kind and helpful. The bubbles and small welcome appetizer are very welcome: they are those little things that make you understand the difference between those who work with passion and those who don't. This time we tried strictly the meat: fantastic entrecote, of excellent quality and cooked to perfection. We will be back soon to try the first courses (which we could see were equally excellent) and the other dishes. Keep it up!

Abbiamo festeggiato qui le comunioni di mia figlia e mia nipote e devo dire che fin da subito c'è stata da parte di Stefania disponibilità nell'accontentare le nostre richieste. Abbiamo trascorso una giornata meravigliosa e ci tenevo a ringraziare Stefania perché siamo stati davvero bene, è stato come stare a casa nostra con la differenza che per una volta le nonne si sono rilassate a tavola con noi😅. È stato tutto perfetto, dall'accoglienza al servizio, passando ovviamente x il cibo e ci tenevo a ringraziare la cucina che è riuscita a starci dietro nonostante le nostre richieste e al personale di sala che è stato disponibile in tutto, senza togliere meriti agli altri su tutti volevo ringraziare Felice che mi ha "sopportata" per tutto il giorno😅 Se la festa è andata bene è stato anche merito dello staff ❤️ grazie di cuore
