They're friendly and will even tell you a few things about the Contrade if they see you're interested. The cuisine is honest: you'll find local dishes, authentic ones like ribollita, but they're not afraid to also prepare good fish, which isn't something everyone can do. The portions are just right, the ingredients taste good, and the money you spend is honest, no fuss. It's one of those authentic osterias that do a good job and leave you happy. Go there for sure.

Great experience! Local dishes, different from the often-misunderstood "great classics," and charming staff. As a bonus, superb outdoor seating on a small street that separates us from the noisy Piazza del Campo nearby...

wonderful food and wonderful people with great value for money. had the pici aglione, ossobucco, fried squid and prawns. al the drinks were great. it was just around the corner from where we were staying, down a bit of an alleyway, but so glad we came back here (after looking at several other places)

Sono tanti anni che ogni volta che andiamo a Siena pranziamo in questo locale. La cucina è ottima, il personale gentile, simpatico e disponibile. La qualità del cibo eccellente e i piatti della cucina toscana particolarmente buoni e curati. Porzioni abbondanti e il prezzo ormai per noi che siamo affezionato clienti sempre più che equo. Ve lo consiglio.
