Hostaria dai Musi In Alba

We visited Hosteria dai Musi for lunch as a group of six and overall had a good experience. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff were friendly and attentive. We all ordered both primi piatti and secondi piatti, and while the meal started off excellent, there were a few small issues with the main courses. The primi piatti for everyone were absolutely delicious — beautifully cooked, full of flavor, and perfectly seasoned. You could really taste the quality of the ingredients and the attention to detail in the preparation. Unfortunately, the secondi piatti didn’t quite live up to the same high standard. Two of us ordered the tagliatelle with white truffle butter, with the option to add fresh white truffle on top. Since the dish already included truffle butter, they chose to have it without the additional truffle topping. However, the plates were served with normal butter and no truffle flavor at all, which was disappointing. Another guest ordered the brasato with mashed potatoes but requested it without truffle butter — it then arrived without any mashed potatoes either, which seemed like a simple misunderstanding but still affected the overall experience. Despite these small mix-ups, the food quality in general remains very high, and we know from past visits that Hosteria dai Musi can be absolutely fantastic. The flavors, presentation, and overall vibe of the place still make it worth recommending — especially for anyone who loves authentic, carefully prepared dishes in a relaxed and welcoming setting. Review from last visit: Wonderful restaurant. We had an absolutely amazing lunch at Hostarua dai Musi. The good was just phenomenal. We had a Vitello Tonnato as a starter and it was probably the best I have ever eaten. The tonnato was a bit mousse like and therefore very fluffy. The food in general was outstanding and I can highly recommend trying the Hostaria dai Musi when you’re visiting Alba.

The food was good, but a bit overpriced. Service was subpar. Inattentive and slightly overwhelmed.

Hostaria dai Musi served us with an excellent dinner. Every course was perfect and just absolutely tasty. Absolutely divine was for instance the catch of the day :-) Also the We could take our seats outside on the plaza. Not only outside but also also inside seemed to be fully booked. Absolutely no surprise, because the quality of dishes is just stunning. A restaurant you want to come back asap.

We had a wonderful lunch on the square in Alba. We were warmly welcomed with delicious bread and homemade butter, followed by a delicious gazpacho appetizer. We chose both vegetarian primi and secondi, which were delicious with a nice variety of flavors and textures. The Pomodoro primi was especially superb. The dessert of freshly made ice cream is highly recommended. We'll be back!

A delicious dinner A glass of local red wine (they have an incredible cellar), veal with tuna sauce, pampering, and warm bread. What more could I ask for on my last day of vacation?

Amazing food and Emily was an amazing server. We couldnt really taste the truffle in the truffle pasta though, even though it was full of truffle, but the pasta itself was very good. A mystery

Locale molto bello nel centro di Alba. Piatti molto buoni e curati nei dettagli. Si percepisce che dietro c’è molta ricerca e voglia di proporre la tradizione in chiave più moderna.

Très bon restaurant, un patron au petit soin et qui parle francais, avec une equipe competente . Une adresse sûre à Alba à ne pas manquer , nous y reviendrons sûrement
