The one-star reduction is due to a delay in service, an unfortunate circumstance for which the staff apologized. We tried the pasta dishes (passatelli, bucatini, tagliatelle), which were good and substantial. Both the side dish and dessert were delicious.

Kind and friendly staff, excellent cuisine, recommended place.

Visiting Gualdo and not stopping...it would be a real shame....thanks, see you soon to try the dessert too....

This restaurant offers a truly authentic Italian experience, wrapped in a cozy vintage atmosphere. A wonderful spot for anyone who appreciates traditional Italian cuisine in a warm and nostalgic setting.

We organized a weekend in Gualdo and seeing the few restaurants in the area on the internet, we chose to book a dinner at Baccus, relying on the many positive reviews. The restaurant is located in the center so it is best to organize yourself well for parking if you are coming from outside. The environment is typical of the classic family-run village tavern, which in my opinion is a very positive factor because they are now on the verge of extinction. The welcome from both the waiters and the owners was excellent, who at the end of the evening stopped by the tables to ask if everything was okay (another typical dying custom that I appreciate very much). We ordered a first course, two second courses, a side dish and two desserts as well as a bottle of wine and two coffees. Final price quite in line with current times. Top meat quality. Too bad for my first course, a little small in quantity for a Osteria ranking where generally the courses should be quite important. The other notes, in my opinion negative, which did not give me the push to give 5 stars, were the absent wine list (there is not a wide choice of wines) and above all the haste of the waiters who, after having served all the courses at the various tables, began to move in a very subliminal way to make us understand that, despite it being a Saturday evening, they wanted to close quite early.

Il servizio è eccellente, simpatico e familiare. Il menù è veramente ottimo e da provare tutto e i prezzi sono ottimi. Ci ritornerò sicuramente.
