The food was good. But a special mention wouldn't go amiss. The service could be improved. I paid too much for what I ate.

How can you not love it!!! Everything is delicious, the cuisine is subtle and flavorful, the service is pleasant and discreet, and the location is unique because we would never have thought of finding this restaurant if it hadn't been recommended to us. Bravo for this inventive and excellent Italian cuisine

We dined here on the recommendation of a friend and were truly satisfied. The quality of the food is truly excellent, and I'd say it's good value for money. We especially recommend the "Il Freddo" appetizer, but the rest of the menu is certainly equally as good.

A true gem in Trieste! There were four of us and we had a wonderful time. The owner welcomed us with great courtesy and reserved a table for us on a small, intimate and charming terrace—perfect for a quiet, meticulously prepared dinner. He recommended dishes and wines with passion, expertise, and a deep culinary knowledge. Each dish was carefully described, detailing the ingredients, their provenance, and pairings, transforming the dinner into a true gastronomic journey. Everything was presented with great care and respect for tradition, but also with a touch of creativity. A special thanks to Federico, the waiter who looked after us throughout the evening with professionalism and discretion: young, kind, always smiling, never intrusive. Excellent food, impeccable service, relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Prices were appropriate for the quality of the food, the expertise of the staff, and the attention we received. Absolutely a well-deserved 5 stars. We will definitely be back!

Historic restaurant located in Via dell'Eremo in the upper part of the province of Trieste in a quiet, cool and airy area in a rustic environment, well furnished with special objects and accessories, all clean and well-kept with some tables distributed inside and a beautiful outdoor terrace on two levels. Refined cuisine with fresh dishes and delicious combinations presented with elegance and professionalism, an excellent selection of local wines and a choice of exquisite home-made desserts and ice creams, all served with kindness and friendliness. Een explosie van smaak!!!! De voorgerecht van carpaccio e mentecatti was simpelweg subliem!!! Als hoofdgerecht hebben we een fantastisch Dentice gehad, en daartussen het parade paard van Daniele, pasta Carbonara met scampi en truffel!!!!! Bediening vriendelijk en attent…. Gewoon Trieste op zijn best!!!! Chapeau!!!!

We went for dinner in four. Both the welcome and the environment were excellent. The food was certainly adequate to the expectations which were excellent. More as a stimulus than as a criticism, I would recommend dedicating a few more seconds to explaining the dishes, sometimes you get a bit lost. However, ultimately everything was really excellent and highly recommended!
