Phenomenal service, excellent food, and a cozy yet elegant atmosphere. The staff is both knowledgeable about the dishes and generous with their time, and the owner is pleasant and accommodating.
The food was marvelous - tasty, interesting, and carefully prepared.
Our time there was lovely and we will surely return if we come back this way.

Locale molto intimo e ben curato a noi consigliato da una “triestina DOC”.
Lo staff sa metterti a tuo agio e le pietanze sono ben studiate e curate. Non mancano esaustive spiegazioni degli abbinamenti proposti.
Ottimi sia il piatto dei crudi che il dolce.
Pane artigianale e servito tostato sulla brace degno di nota.
Cantina dei vini ben fornita e con molte eccellenze locali.
Sicuramente da provare se si ama il pesce.

A very intimate and well-kept place recommended to us by a "Trieste DOC".
The staff knows how to put you at ease and the dishes are well thought out and prepared. There is no shortage of exhaustive explanations of the proposed combinations.
Both the raw dish and the dessert are excellent.
Artisan bread and served toasted on the grill worthy of note.
Well-stocked wine cellar with many local excellences.
Definitely worth a try if you love fish.

Restaurant outside the centre, on the Trieste hill, without its own parking (if you are lucky you can find a place along the road, otherwise there is a free car park 200 meters away.
We come to the small place, but with attention to detail, with the right space between the tables, with "alpine" style wood qualities.
They have an extensive wine list, even by the glass, we tried the house white which was really good.
The waiters know how to guide you very well in choosing the dishes and the chef serves them at the table, with an accurate explanation.
The menu consists mainly of fish dishes, with quality raw materials and a refined choice of combinations.
I recommend the spaghetti with squid ink, with homemade pasta, with bottarga, sea urchin pulp, and grated orange peel.
Even the bread was very fresh and made by them, it was so good, that they gave it to us to take home.
Aligned account and more than positive overall opinion.

Well done guys, maximum care and attention in the service and food... Really well done. Quality wine by the carafe, welcome offered by the house, even pre-dessert biscuits... and bitters offered. An excellent discovery!

Posto incantevole, cucina ottima, servizio professionale e accogliente. Super la carbonara di mare al tartufo (anche nella versione risotto). Un po distante dal centro ma l’esperienza ripaga abbondantemente il viaggio. Sicuramente uno dei migliori ristoranti di Trieste (forse il migliore). Complimenti allo chef. Da ripetere quanto prima.

Turns 50 years old. Fantastic. Atmosphere 10, stylish, impeccable and professional waiter. Food level a little bit, the squid a little heavy. But that place is quite a detail. Looking forward to returning
