One of the best restaurants in Trieste, reconfirmed after years, a guarantee of quality for both food and service. I found the environment - new to me - of the veranda very beautiful, with a style that recalls the mountains more than a seaside city with the various wooden elements.
I really appreciated the willingness to prepare just for me a dish that on the menu is intended for at least two, tagliolini carbonara with truffle.
In addition to the appetizer and the first course that we ordered, we were served an entree at the beginning and biscuits at the end of the meal. Substantial bill but the place is worth it all.

Very pretentious place, walls full of certifications, prizes and competitions. Nice and well-kept environment. Good dishes, although not exceptional. Unfortunately, of two scallops au gratin, one was clearly served badly as it was swimming in oil, it really looked different from the other. Service, although very courteous, was not optimal: when we asked for a bottle of water they remembered it after half an hour when we had finished everything, I proposed to offer us a digestive which we accepted but they forgot to bring it to us. Finally a receipt with a total and that's it, without any details. Overall we definitely expected better

Beautiful, welcoming, hospitable. You might say it's a simple, homely place, an honest fish restaurant... but instead it hides excellent ingredients, care in the dishes and surprising combinations of flavours. Friendly and prepared staff.

Locale molto accogliente, con una proposta prevalentemente di pesce.
Eravamo in tanti e abbiamo ordinato svariati piatti.
Alcune portate ,tipo lo spaghetto al nero,erano davvero buone,altre normali,tipo il piatto freddo di mare.
Dolci buoni,servizio cortese.
Ci ritorneremo sicuramente

One of the best places in Trieste....quality food, impeccable service and top courtesy, prices in line. The only thing I would suggest in the raw dish is to eliminate cod, pâté and carpaccio and perhaps replace them with red prawns, oysters and cockles or raw scallops or canoce in season. Excellent scampi. 2 pieces of everything per serving would be perfect. Then everyone has their own tastes. Until next time

Un día ventoso, después de haber caminado por el Parco Farneto a la hora de comer, decepcionados por el parque Revoltella Villa, caímos en este restaurante gastronómico muy acogedor.
Comenzando con un trío de diferentes presentaciones de vieiras.
Seguido de deliciosos espaguetis negros con bottarga y naranja.
Terminamos con sepia pequeña frita ligeramente profunda.
Todo con vino de friulana local, y servido por personal servicial y bien informado
Definitivamente vale la pena, así que toma el desvío.
